  1. Hey everyone, I've just released a movie quiz game for Android and am looking for testers who would give me some feedback on it. It's a just-for-fun project. I do know I'm not supposed to advertise here, so I've been wondering if anyone knows how to go about this. Also, does anyone happen to know where I could advertise the app in general? Many thanks in advance!
  2. Jean-Claude Van Damme Dolph Lundgren Kyle McLachlan Jeffrey Combs Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa Cybill Shepherd Bruce Campbell Jet Li Richard Norton Cynthia Rothrock Don "The Dragon" Wilson Gary Daniels Michael Dudikoff Bolo Yeung ...and of course, if you could get Jackie Chan, but this is probably not very realistic?
  3. Hey guys, My apologies if this is not the right forum to ask this. I thought maybe someone here may be able to help me. If I wanted to have flyers distributed at a Showmasters event (ComingCon or another film fair), what would be the best way to go about this? Do I ask (and pay) someone who already has a table, or do I hire someone to just stand there and distribute them (but I suppose, I need to ask the management for permission and pay for it?) etc. Many thanks in advance!
  4. I do know TBBT gets a lot of hate, but I love it immensely. Sure thing, "Breaking Bad" would be another example, though I didn't enjoy it even remotely as much as I adore TBBT. Let it be my guilty pleasure, then, though I didn't realise that the show is considered so bad that this status would be justified. I am happy to admit that my taste can be trashy though. There are actually very few shows that I genuinely enjoy watching and whose demise I mourn. The last one was "Episodes", and now it's TBBT. Really hoping they will make more "Good Omens", though it's probably not going to be quite as good. Never seen "Neighbours" or "Mad Men", though my mum loves the latter. "The Expanse" is another one I tried watching at least twice, but only persevered for three or four episodes. Same problem for me, the characters seemed utterly artificial. I know I'll get a beating for that, lol
  5. ...and then I watch a show like "Good Omens" or "Monk" (never saw the last season, so catching up now), and I realise: Nope, it really is the characters. The bland, dull, egocentric and underdeveloped characters in today's films and TV shows. We're supposed to be living in TV's golden age, but production values aren't everything, are they? I know I'm just being mean, and there are other shows with interesting characters, like "Sex Education" or - of course - "The Big Bang Theory", but this is how I feel about most shows I try watching nowadays. But then again, it's possible that I've just forgotten all the unremarkable trash of yore. So, I don't really know. Any thoughts?
  6. Watching "Dark Crystal" for the second time... I didn't like it back then, almost 20 years ago, but thought that now that I' ve grown up somehow, I would appreciate it. Read the novelization before re-watching it and thought it pretty terrible. Now that I'm re-watching the film, I realise that the film still doesn't work for me, either. One of those cases where I'm amazed at how differently the general public and I perceive a movie.
  7. Thanks so much for your quick response, etmuse! Really appreciated!
  8. Hey guys, Does anyone happen to know if I'm allowed to bring a camera to a Comic Con event? Thanks in advance!
