Latest Guest Announcement - CHRIS BUNN
Mayhem replied to showmasters's topic in Film & Comic Con Newcastle 2017 October
Don't suppose there's a shot of the pilot he played in the Cantina? -
My order should be with you Jason for this :)
-
Yes, I was speaking to Jason about the next couple of shows, and he was working to get Sheffield and Glasgow up over the weekend.
-
That is possibly the key part heh... I rarely display anything I have, sunlight is always the enemy...

Jessica Henwick Appreciation Thread
Mayhem replied to HankMarvin86's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2017
Met her at last year's LFCC, she was lovely, we joked over the fact we had both been glitter bombed by Carrie Fisher. How little we'd know what would happen months later sadly... -
Kenny Baker last year by any chance?
-
Yeah, very sad, presume this is the reason for the cancel, he had fallen ill and didn't recover Didn't realise he was 91 though...

Those quite often actually Persephone. All my autograph stuff waits to be dry, goes in a mylar sleeve and then into the toploader. It's also how I send my items in if I can't attend a show.

Best And Fastest Way To Travel To Event
Mayhem replied to Lurgan Slasher's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2017
Yeah, Northern Line to Balham, then you might need a train to Clapham first, but there's definitely trains that can go to Olympia from Balham, or there's a train that begins at Clapham that goes through Olympia (platform 17, way at the end irrc). This is what I used last year. -
If there are tickets left for the photoshoots for person X, then yes you can buy them at the show, but they may be thus towards the end of Sunday depending on how many shoots they have scheduled. Spending money, really depends on who you want to see and get autographs for... I can't answer that one there are ATMs on site though if you need more cash.
-
The tube out to Olympia is normally only once per 20 minutes, so it might actually be better walking. Or if you are coming from the south, going via Clapham and using the overground train from platform 17 instead which goes through Olympia station.
-
Just the Sunday I believe, it stretches all the way down here too, although as I won't be travelling by car then, I should hopefully avoid all the trouble!

The three unrevealed Star Wars signers
Mayhem replied to Mayhem's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2017
Cheers... sadly too late for my order (sorted it out yesterday). Hopefully there might be a clearer shot of the actors from the films, if we're very lucky... -
Afaik, no issue bringing your own food/drink into the venue, I've never been to a con anywhere in the world that has stopped people doing that.

Hooray, normal posting resumed! I had originally tried to clean cache and cookies for Firefox when first encountering the problem on Friday gone, but evidently it wouldn't work without whatever fix has just been put in place. Backed up by the fact that I couldn't post in Safari OR Chrome either at the time.

Indeed, sadly. Given the store closes tomorrow, I'm going to have to probably put my order in tonight... -
Latest Guest Announcement - COLIN HUNT
Mayhem replied to showmasters's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2017
Character's name is Orrimaarko (aka Prune Face), he was even a decent character in the Star Ward CCG. I hope Colin can added to the pre order store before it closes as I'd like his autograph! -

Thanks, the pre-order shop "closes" on the 19th, so if the people in question are named, and hopefully in the shop by the weekend, that should give me enough time to order what I'd like to send in, and actually get it sent in! :) -

Nah, Dennis was at last year's event (which is how I finally got to meet him), and he's definitely was not a first time signer even then. These are definitely going to be background extras in the scenes in question. -
Important Guest Update Tonight 7pm LFCC
Mayhem replied to showmasters's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2017
Met Nathan three years ago at San Diego, very nice guy, getting him here for LFCC would be a nice coup, as if Cumberbatch wasn't already... -
Been to LFCC the last couple of years, but only just signed up to the forum now. Sadly can't make it this year because it clashes with my birthday, and already have other plans... erm, well planned! Sadly. So I'll be mailing in a few items to have signed instead. Was wondering when the three unnamed Star Wars first time signers (Rebel Pilot A, Rebel Pilot B, and Protocol Droid C) would be revealed for two reasons. First, so they may appear in the pre-order shop (although they may be there and I haven't spotted them). Second, I may have something relevant to any of them to get signed, so I can pick out an appropriate item to send in, rather than rely on a pre-determined photo supplied by the actor/Showmasters. Any information appreciated! :)

Mayhem replied to showmasters's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2017
This late? You're going to bankrupt people who've already purchased Cumberbatch diamonds heh.
