  1. After submitting the Exta Help form the screen you are presented with does actually say that you won’t be contacted. I actually screen shot the page after submitting my form, I’ve just taken a phograph of my printed out screen shot but, don’t know how to add images. I will quite what it says on the page that comes up after you click submit. ”THANK YOU Your submission has been received. You will now only be contacted if there is a question about your submission. When you arrive on the day please ask a crew member to direct you to the Extra Help Desk, where you will present the forms you have indicated and we will assist/advise you on completing your entry to the event. If you require a Carer they must be with you at this point. We hope you enjoy your visit to our event!” So given this information they are basically saying that’s it you’re done and not to worry
  2. Sadly I think the to tickets are none refundable and none transferable. However, if you have a huge issue then try emailing the shop to see if they can help.
  3. Hi, you head over to the photo booth of the guest at the time of the photo session for that guest. Or even a few minutes before. Then the crew member at the photo session will guide you as they will be shouting out “Diamond Passes, Gold Passes, Bath one and two” and so on and so forth. So its the queue that is relevant to the bathes not the actual photo itself. on the more popular guests they will have two photo session on the day AM and PM. When the fully revised schedule comes out today it will say on there for example “Matt Smith AM session will only be taking Diamond Pass, Gold Passes and Batches 1-3” then all others on the PM session. This doesn’t mean that if you are Diamond Pass or Batch one that you have to go to the AM session as if you have scheduled yourself for the PM that’s fine. However, it does mean that if you are Batch 8 for example then you won’t be able to attend the AM session and have to go to the PM one. Batch number can be found on your PDF version of the eTicket that was sent in the email when it was booked. They don’t appear in the App Tickets. Dont worry if you have a high batch number and a clash the crew are brilliant and will try their best to ensure it’s a very smooth session for you
  4. You get a Poster with your Diamond Pass maybe get that signed?
  5. I’d already done it before I got your reply lol... The mods are very good and have merged the two very good indeed
  6. I opened up a different thread with the questions below because I wasn’t aware that this topic already existed So I have copied and pasted it if that’s ok? Hi everyone, just wanting to know what time will everyone start queuing? obvisously there are many very popular guests going to the event this year (as there is every year) so what time do you recommend people queue? the doors don’t open for collecting (in my case) Extra Help Wrist Bands at West Olympia Entrance until 8am on the Friday. It opens at 7am Saturday and 7.30am Sunday but, obviously people like to get in the queues early to be able to get their favourite guests VQ tickets as early as possible. As this year even those who require Extra Help and have registered for the relevant wrist bands still need to collect VQ tickets for Autos; I imagine that queue is also going to be busy. This means that there will be queues outside well before the time the doors/Gate H opens on each of the days. Just curious what plans people have for getting into the queues prior to Gate H/West Olympia Entrance opening? if you are a YALC attendee what time does that queue generally start? Last year I think I was in the Extra Help queue around 7.30 each morning and there was already plenty of people in the general queue. This year however, it seems Extra Help will be entering the building through a different entrance (close to Gate H). Also with the Friday starting later it means the doors to collect passes/entrance tickets will also be opening later. if you are one of the people who like to get there early what’s your motivation for doing so? Do you make friends in the queue? How do you get to the event that early because transport isn’t the best if it’s super early? I will be getting a Cab from Kings Cross to the Olympia each morning ive also seen a thread saying the overground isn’t running that weekend (don’t know the details I could be wrong) will this hamper anyone’s plans for getting to the event early? Also I’m hoping as it’s the London Bile Ride over that weekend the road closures are after I’ve already arrived at the Olympia.
  7. I do understand it’s just for example people have asked questions about topics that could have been asked in the FAQ thread but, have not been told they are cluttering up the forum. There is about 3 topics that all cover similar things like Pass pickup days and points. It’s ok I’m not taking offence lol. Unfortunely I don’t know how to delete the thread I’m sorry. If someone could either do it for me or please tell me how I do it? I have copied my original question and I will put it in the thread I was told about but sadly didn’t realise it was there.
  8. I had missed it yes and I do appreciate you pointing it out. However, as I said it’s similar not the same. I wasn’t using quotations to be facetious just to actually quote. I didn’t see it as clutter but, you said that it was hence the quotations. Anyway no harm no foul. Thanks anyway
  9. I have had a look through that post and yes it similar but, not the “same” I wasn’t aware that there was a similar topic. However, just curious that’s all and wanted to see what people were doing each day for various queues and also if the transport and road closures would be hindering their plans? I don’t see it as “clutter” especially as there are a few other “similar” topics happening on the forum. If you do see it as clutter that I apologise and won’t keep it!

  11. Sadly there is no pictures on Bank Cards so will the Card used to purchase the tickets be enough to show if you don’t have photo ID? Also when I picked up last year I honestly don’t think I showed anything with my Photo on but, I do have a poor memory. If you think about it they would be here a heck of a long time if they were checking everyone’s ID with photos etc.. To pick up a parcel from the sorting office you only need to produce a Debit/Credit Card as proof? If you have your entrance ticket even if you can’t collect it as it’s a Day Ticket then surely that along with a Bank Card should be sufficient?
  12. Yes that’s what it seems like to me too. Thank you for your reply. I will be getting a Cab to the event each day (it’s tricky with my Walker otherwise) so I’m sure the driver will know where to go haha
  13. Hi, I am not sure if this has already been asked. Last year people who had weekend or day tickets who needed Extra Help (Last year you didn’t need to pre register this year people do which is fair enough); went in Gate H with all the other “normal ticket holders”. Once inside we just collected our tickets, Extra Help/Carer Wrist Bands and queued up along side the barriers. This means we weren’t getting knocked etc which was good. However, it’s stating that this year People who need/have registered for Extra Help need to enter via the Olympia West Entrance and NOT Olympia West Gate H? So does this mean that we are queuing within the Olympia West Entrance and not just collecting Extra Help Bands there and then queuing at Gate H? Also please can you clarify that Weekend Wrist Bands can also be collected from West Entrance as well as Extra Help please? I am really pleased I can collect on the Thursday evening of Diamond Passes and my Weekend Ticket but, sadly a friend who is also attending and needs Extra Help will need to collect their Weekend Band on the Friday that’s why I ask if they can also be collected with the Extra Help
  14. Please could I also ask is there any news on whether there will be a Thursday a pick up for Diamond Passes as yet?
  15. Yes I was thinking that sometimes if they are cheaper they generally aren’t VQ people. Michelle Ryan at Collectormania wasn’t and she was £15 but, Richard Wilson was and he was £25. It’s difficult to tell if they will be “popular” because they have both been to SM events before but, not regular as far as I’m aware. Thank you though I will bear this in mind If I don’t Manage to get Tim that’s fine I’ve put his Auto Money aside just in case but, Noel and I grind are my “must have” Tim McInnerny and Paul Kaye are if I have time because I’ve got Diamond Passes for Christopher Eccleston, Peter Capaldi, Matt Smith, Steven Seagal, Tom Baker and Meatloaf, as well as photos booked with people from The 100, Once upon a Time and the DW people so I’m going to be a busy bee lol
  16. Hi just a quick question please... I have Disabilities and have already applied for Accessibility which I do every year. However, this year they have changed it and now people with Disabilities still have to get a VQ ticket for Autos with the guests that are VQ. This is fair enough but, I will not be able to get to guests “quickly” to obtain the VQ early as other able bodied people will. I always buy Diamond Passes for the DP guests I would like to meet anyway so they aren’t an issue. What is the issue is for those guests that aren’t DP but, may well still need a VQ for? I was wondering if there is any information on which guests are likely to need a VQ but are not Diamond Pass people? The Autographs for people I would like are... Saturday... Noel Clarke Ingrid Oliver Tim McInnerny Sunday... Paul Kaye The most expensive Auto for the above guests is £20 and the others are £15. Do you think the above guests are likely to be VQ people? As I said I always buy Diamond Passes for the Diamond Pass guests I would like to meet. I understand that having the DP is the only guaranteed way of securing their Auto. I also always buy Diamond Passes for those guests because of my Disabilities knowing I can’t stand that long (I do have a seat on my Walker) and it means I don’t have to “rush” etc.. However, with the new rules it means that I can’t plan as I usually do because I don’t know if I’m going to be able to secure VQ Tickets for the non DP guests. I’ve been to LFCC a few times and their Accessibility Policy is second to none but, with the new rules it makes it very difficult for the likes of me who has mobility issues. I understand that they give out “Carer” tickets and that means a lot of people will have able bodied people with them to “run” (so to speak) to get any VQ tickets required but, I’ve never accessed that facility because the person I go with also goes to “enjoy” the Con and they too have Mobility and pain issues. This means neither of us can quickly get up to where the guests are. There are not many lifts in the Olympia and they are not the best but that’s a different story Anyway my issue is would it be possible to have a “heads up” on which guests are likely to be VQ for Autographs please? Do you think the guests I’m mentioned above are likely to be VQ guests? thanks for all your help I really appreciate it
  17. Thank you for this, I’ve double checked on the DP description and there is no mention of a “limit”. Therefore should I take this as I can purchase up to an additional 4 Autographs? I’ve screenshot the description from the Eventbrite Page to say what’s included in the Diamond Pass. I’m really pleased with this because it means I can get an Auto for my friend
  18. Hi, please can I ask how many Autos can one person get from Matt at the event? I have a Diamond Pass and I will be hopefully getting an extra Auto but, was wanting to know will I be allowed to buy the two extra? So Diamond Pass Auto and Two more making it Three? Thanks
  19. Thank you for this I really appreciate it I need to book now lol... Got his Diamond Pass but, with the Exterior Tardis is a must and a once in a lifetime
  20. On the Eventbrite Page there is a photo opportunity with Tom and the Tardis. However, this op is not listed in the announcement nor is it listed on his pricing on the Website? Also I’m wanting to know is it with the Tardis Exterior like Christopher and Matt is or is in Green Screen Tardis Interior like in previois years with other guests? Is it an actual shoot because I’m quite confused (that doesn’t take much though lol) Thanks in Advance
  21. Thanks I didn’t actually know this so I really appreciate that. I’ve just checked and when I’ve logged in it says Hammersmith Road as opposed to Olympia Way will that be ok still?
  22. I always have printed tickets though (a bit of an organisation freak lol) so I’ve checked on Eventbrite and it has updated on there but, my already printed out Diamond Pass Tickets have the wrong venue? It also says Motorpoint on the Tardis Matt photo ticket and the Tom Baker Diamond Pass ticket. Basically all tonights ticket purchases
  23. I have just realised this too that our also say Motorpoint is that going to be an issue?
  24. I bought two Diamond Passes about 7:10-7:15 but, they did take a short while, I thought it was my internet lol. Were people still having trouble later than that?
  25. Well I’ve gone and booked the Diamond Pass even though I was going to wait until the schedule comes out. I have booked the photo for the Saturday. do you guys think that I will have a clash? I’ve only got 3 photos on the Saturday which are... Peter Capaldi (Diamond Pass) Noel Clarke Ingrid Oliver and now Diamond Pass for The Ledgend Steven Seagal
