  1. Is the photo shoot with the tardis, the life size model I see at cons? Anyone know how the set up will be like i.e standing next to the tardis or is it going to be behind you in the distance?
  2. @Raylenth thanks, I never thought to Google signed Funko (most obvious step!) and the paint definitely looks better than a Sharpie. I shall be pen shopping this weekend for paint pens. @minchb Ok, no flat packing the box! I bought my Pop's at a shop, so no cardboard container for them but I did notice in the store sold clear box protectors so I'll go back and buy some, I'm presuming these will be the acid free ones. Thanks guys, I'm more clued up now
  3. PLEASE can we get Sons of Anarchy guests back this year, or at the very least Tommy Flanagan
  4. I value your 2ps worth! This is why I asked because I'm not sure it looks right having the signature across the plastic as it kinda hides the character but I see what you both mean and you are right. What brand are the paint pens? Are coloured Sharpies good also? I've read the best way to transport these boxes for signing is to flat pack them, is that right?
  5. I bought my first ever Pop! today, probably a big mistake as I'll want to add to it all the time now. However, for those that get them signed, do you always get them signed across the plastic front, as I don't think it looks that good?
  6. No not seen that one. Need to see it now! My favourite is Niagara.
  7. Personally I can't be bothered with guessing games, if there's a guest to announce, then announce them that day, or the following day at the latest with tickets going straight on sale. It will save on any 'hype' which will be fantastic for some people and a total let down for others.
  8. I'm seeing lots of care bears. I'm only used to seeing one
  9. Wow, she's pretty well known so that is a bargain price. Sadly Cardiff is too difficult for me to get to.
  10. Wasn't he in the running to become the next James Bond a few years back?
  11. I forgot to add Paul McCartney to that.
  12. Would love to meet the nicest man in rock - Dave Grohl And also the guy that did the musical score on La La Land, Justin Hurwitz. I'd add Ben Folds but I've met him a few times already.
  13. Totally agree and from what I've read a nice person away from the camera too.
  14. I like Christopher Eccleston - he's a very good actor and, like Peter Capaldi not just for Dr Who fans
  15. If it is indeed a she I'd love it to be Judi Dench, however for 'collection' purposes it could possibly be Maggie Smith. And both are legends.
  16. I'm going to watch an episode of Sons of Anarchy, then it'll be nearly time.
  17. You're right but I'm still doubtful about his attendance. I have an inkling for Rowan Atkinson though.
  18. He is actually doing the play every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the play run. He may want to put all his focus and energy into this job, which is why I don't think it's him this time. Plus if he did do Sunday, who's to say he wont enjoy. He might do another con again in the future even if its in 20 years time and Showmasters have clearly stated this guest will never do another one. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Although nothing is set in stone until 7pm tonight.
  19. How much does Eccleston value his days off. That's if it is him.
  20. Well if they are better, I might actually do that, as I thought his first season wasn't very good. There have been quite a few instances where I have met guests and its made me watch their films/tv shows that I hadn't seen before. So if I meet Peter it might convince me to give his version of Dr Who another go.
  21. I like Peter, loved him in the Musketeers but I couldn't get away with him as Dr Who. Stopped watching it half way through his first season and never watched another episode Mind you I'm not really a Dr Who fan to begin with, I only started watching it when Matt Smith was in it and obviously he is the best as far as I'm concerned that I haven't watched anyone else. However, Peter I would like to meet as I like his other work.
  22. Because I am a fan of the Hollywood Golden Age, and many of my favourite films belong to these legendary actors Audrey Hepburn Marilyn Monroe James Stewart Cary Grant Fred Astaire Rock Hudson Bette Davis
  23. Oooh he'd be good to meet. Seems quite fan friendly when I've seen clips of him at premiers. (still hoping for Harrison Ford though)
