  1. Gentleman and great story teller. Do watch out, he might try to tickle you during your photo shoot!
  2. 9 days left, 6 till the schedule right. CM24 schedule was released on the Wednesday before the Saturday. This schedule is super packed with extras and top guests, worried but excited. Count down to schedule for me first.....when plane hits the asphalt in London...how many hours how many hours...time check time check
  3. Do this myself...had 10 different T-shirts at CM. End up most times putting a t-shirt on top of another or wore a hoodie (get asked a lot by guests am I not dying in it) because I can't get somewhere to change. Any chance you could put Phone boxes around the place for quick chances SM? You know, like Superman!
  4. Any chance a large screen or projector be used at the photo shoot areas? A projector that displays, onto the wall high up, the 'now queuing' for Guest and Batch number (ever more important now with big guests having double figure batch numbers). This could possibly be seen from anywhere in the event. So many times I bounce from one photo area to another, fail to hear or can't see crew for announcements, I end up asking people who are confused as I or I end up with sweaty stressed face photos. Communication helps, ahhhh and delays (which can't be helped) from guests arriving late-ish can shift my schedule. Looking up and being able to see live information displayed would be a big help as I shimmy through crowds.
  5. Lovely video from her saying how crushed she is about LF&CC on Twitter.....
  6. When Crowley took over hell he initially changed Hell into a never-ending queue………I guess I am now going to have to check this website ever hour!! SM that was a quiet announcement, I like to get my batch 1’s for my top guests.
  7. I have read that conclusion many times before, probably even on one of these forums, and is good advice. I have checked mine many times down through the years, panic from the first time I read it, but usually more concerned by light, air and even moisture damage than how acid affects them. But alas this is a digital world we live in and scanning my photos is something I do, sure if my photos degrade or fade away in 10 or more years, I can just print new ones out right. Besides it's the digital version I show mainly, there forever to help us remember fun times and smile and laugh.
  8. I have been using one of these since LFCC 2013. After I get the photo taken I place it in the box, let it dry out I guess like autographs, then put them into hard plastic toploaders and back in the box. I use the 250 deep box for big cons like LFCC & now CM24 & use 150 box for smaller cons. I then place these boxes onto a book shelf or shelves now. I use the clear/white ones, but of course I have seem other colours like blue. The smaller boxes don't hold more than 8 or 9 toploaders before it gets hard to close them. I started using these as they fitted perfectly into a laptop type bag, meant it easy to take the box out quickly and still have room for goodies in the bag and not worry about them being scratched or bent.
  9. Is this the exact car that was in the Movie (Therefore justifies the 10pound price) or is it a car in Cosplay? 10pound??
  10. "Nothing is given to you. You've got to work for it".........Hope I have time to queue to meet you Jack, will do my best. Great guest!
  11. So many variables!! Maybe another Big Bang Theory guest like Wil Wheaton. This has now stalled my purchasing of more guests for Collectormania 24………but I am intrigued…..Wil I get more Bang for my buck
  12. It is like the WARNING, the one you see at the beginning of some movies like strong language, violence etc. See the thing is they know who it is but have to warn people because.... new guest means new tickets for group photos, joined photos, with prop photos, limited batches.....have the online shop lined up and ready to go once announced.....keep the mods entertained for a week......the 24th is a payday for someone and they are using the force to hold off on the announcement.....takes time for magic to work!!!
  13. Sean Pertwee (Alfred Pennyworth, Gotham) Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter, Agent Carter) Michael Rooker (Merle, The Walking Dead)
  14. If you could have a wee chat with the shop about there still not being any photo ticket available, that would be great thanks.
  15. Real real shame, his performances in Doctor Who and Game of Thrones would make getting a photo with him an absolute treasure. Role on more chances to see him in Doctor Who...but with disappointment I don't get to meet him now.
  16. Natalie Dormer, we all missed out on meeting her in 2014
  17. So many types of Photo shoots to choose from! I have always got my tickets just after the guest has been announced (to get Batch 1 of course or in the past, a low number or at times based on excitement) and have missed out on considering the extra shoots like the groups & extra things like props as first choice. Life toggles & tickles! My best wishes goes out to the scheduler for this event this year, so much to do and fingers crossed for balance in the force between one photo shoot area & another. I will have 20 photos purchased (2days) in total to-date but holding 4 off until the schedule. I expect chaos! So bring thy whit’s & photo-clashing photo-queuing-steward begging-knee-pads ALL. The real ride on this journey begins with your plan the week before the event. Group shoots will help with getting as many guests in as little photo shoots as possible. 5th year attending comic cons & still haven’t learned these lessons.
  18. There is no Photo Shoot Ticket for Ken Colley in the online shop!
