  1. excellent, glad I started a BSG poster with Tricia Helfer at the last LFCC
  2. You did a great job with this years guests (butt kissing now over) I'll stick with some of my suggestions from last year Rose McIver Krysten Ritter Maisie Williams Karen Gillian
  3. Crispin Glover is actually doing a con in America this month, it especially mentions that he won't sign BTTF 2 or 3 items (including trilogy boxsets) given the recasting the issues but it appears he'll sign first movie, so it's not 100% out of the question
  4. can I have a few? I had a great time at my first ever LFCC, among my highlights are (which was many) Seeing the joy in William Regal's eyes when I mentioned how much I loved his performance in the Las Vegas Showgirl match against Goldust Michael Rosenbaum and Alicia Witt defacing each other's face on my Urban Legend picture. Alexis Denisof knowing my home city (Hull), and then Alyson Hannigan in the queue next to me saying hello to me as she was getting up to go to lunch (this was before I met her in the afternoon) meeting everyone I wanted to meet bar John Cleese and Bernard Cribbins - this not a complaint I had loads of guests I wanted to meet and to only miss out on these two was an achievement talking with Missi Pyle about how underrated Josie and the Pussycats is. Just how personable the big guests where the likes of Alyson Hannigan, Natalie Dormer and Kevin Smith among others all took interest in what I had to say I had a great but tiring time, honestly the only thing I didn't like was the pushing to get a VQ first thing in the morning
  5. they haven't said guest have they anywhere, so I guess it could be anything
  6. it's the piano from the movie Big, we'll be hearing people doing Heart and Soul all day
  7. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I'm trying to not spend more money, damn you Showmasters.... in all seriousness great guest announcement!
  8. I didn't need food, gas or electric this month
  9. I think she has been mentioned briefly elsewhere in the thread but my gut is telling me it's Millie Bobby Brown
  10. happy with this announcement was disappointed he cancelled Collectormania as I'm a big fan of his work
  11. Some of the stuff I've been working on recently I have loads of projects going at the moment but these are some of my favourites
  12. Thought it was excellent overall Every guest I met was great Gemma Whelan was lovely and laughed at my embarrassment of wanting a quote with a dirty word and me trying not to say it, Robert Patrick was clearly having a good time and all the guests I had questions for happily answered them. I hope I can say this because I won't mention the name of a rival event, but at an event I recently was at, it was a bit of a farce, more queuing in lines to autographs (due to bad timekeeping among other reasons) what made me nervous that I wouldn't get to meet every guest I wanted to meet (which I did end up doing), but with the VQ system at CM and most guests working at a good speed, I got to meet everybody and was never worried about it, I think Julie Benz at around 2pm on the Saturday was the guest I met the latest. I know LFCC is bigger and all that but it actually helped it feel less daunting for me. Also I went with 2 people, 1 her first ever convention - because she really wanted to meet Michael Shanks - and she had a blast
  13. I've took maxi posters to a number of events, I can't see them being an issue for any guest. To be honest the only sort of things I can see most guests not signing if it's a nude photo of them or something like that.
  14. I think he's done some events recently and he's done where you can purchase autographs beforehand or send your stuff and you pick it up at the event signed (I imagine he signed them in his hotel room the night before or something), and he comes to the event to do photoshoots mainly
  15. I just thought I'd share an idea I had though, nowhere else I could really put it
  16. What about comic con cruise involving say the Amsterdam Comic Con Say Saturday, attendees get on a boat you have a comic con on the ship, maybe a handful of guests signing Sunday you arrive in Amsterdam where the attendees go to the event as well as having guests that have been took sign at that event too. (then back on the boat and people get back Monday)
  17. ha we posted the exact same thing at roughly the same time
  18. it might have already been said and I might be reading too much into it but the colours of the announcement match that of The Last Jedi teaser poster
