  1. Ah ha! Thanks very much for confirming, I thought it sounded a little odd!
  2. Hi all, I've not been to a LFACC before and have a Diamond Pass to collect - this section of the FAQ seems to suggest that there's one main entrance for pre-paid entry tickets and another entrance for collection of Diamond Passes, meaning I'd need to 'do' main entry and then enter again via another entrance to get my Diamond Pass. Am I reading it correctly? Might somebody have a couple of minutes to describe what I should be doing? Thanks very much!
  3. Hi Queen_Sindel, Thanks for taking the time to reply to my question. Best wishes, Paul.
  4. Talk to the crew on the day and we should be able to sort this out. Hi Too Tall, When you say "...we should be able to sort this out..." is this confirmation that it *will* be possible? I have a 5 hour round trip to MK and back and am not keen on doing this on the offchance that something might be possible... Thanks, Paul
  5. Wow, thanks a 100% knock out! The new schedule has meant that my day has totally fallen to pieces! I was coming to see John Wagner and Derek Jacobi (both now cancelled) and get a photoshoot and a couple of signatures (inc the signed photoshoot pic) with Samuel Anderson. I have an early bird entry ticket and Samuel Anderson is now the last photoshoot of the day, which means I'll be hanging around all day for a photoshoot, which is now running too late to even get the photoshoot pic signed afterwards. Might it not at least be possible to bring his photoshoot forwards slightly to then organise a brief signing session for those of that that would like our photoshoot pics signed...?
  6. Interesting, thanks for the reply. I went through Alex's queue at around 2.15 to 2.30-ish and didn't see the signs you've mentioned and there wasn't anybody walking up and down the line inside the tent saying anything about this! Judging from the previous post, the signs were apparently there at lunchtime, so I must've missed them, maybe too busy fiddling with the stuff I wanted to get signed to look up!
  7. OK, my feedback on the Sunday of the event..... I enjoyed the day out and it all seemed better organised than the last time I came to an event at MK Dons Stadium 2 years ago, however a couple of minor niggles which are easily fixable for next time - suggestions of the fixes also given in a nice and constructive way: 1. The Alex Kingston photo shoot queuing was a a little chaotic as there were so many people waiting round and it was difficult to hear what the crew member organising the queuing was trying to say above the chatter of the people waiting and, espcecially, as the wind was howling a gale in the queuing area. A small and cheap loudspeaker/megaphone would be very helpful and would probably save crew members' sore throats! 2. I can fully understand why Alex Kingston was asked not to personalise items and photos weren't allowed in the afternoon as there were lots of people to get through her queue. However, when this is the case I strongly think that there's a onus on Showmasters to inform customers of the restrictions at the point of purchasing their autographs, rather than leaving it to the guest to explain this! Not only does it leave the guest embarassed and the customer somewhat puzzled and irritated, but it doesn't achieve the intended time saving for the guest as they take the same time, if not longer, explaining that they can't personalise and that photos aren't allowed as it would've taken them to personalise and for a photo to be taken! *Please* can this information be given out at the point of purchase and not by the guest in future, noting in particular that it might affect whether the customer actually wants to buy the autograph, or the number of autographs they might buy....? Overall a very nice day out - well done to all......!
  8. UPDATE: Mine arrived today by 1st class post in a stiff-backed envelope, so hopefully everybody else will either have received theirs too or be about to.....
  9. Same for me with my Joanna Lumley photo,so I'd like to know an approx eta too please.....
  10. For what it's worth James Cosmo is down to do a photoshoot on the Saturday, if that's any help....? DAVE - I imagine that you've already tried, but is there any chance of persuading Waren Mitchell to also do 12-2 on the Sunday as well as the Saturday? Thanks! Paul.
  11. I have no idea who the guests might be, but it does rather strike me that if there are still tickets left and they were "big names" (eg Eve Myles, Freema, James Marsters) they'd be advertised in advance to help encourage further registrations and sell the remaining tickets. Look forward to reading who they were though......
  12. Oh bother, how very tiresome indeed!* I take it back, that's not me maybe having to come along as I can only make the Sunday. Oh well, money saved I guess...... [*edited to remove mild swearing, just in case....]
  13. Excellent guest, I might have to come along now! I believe (but may be wrong!) that he had a stroke recently-ish, hence his poor health in recent times. Mind you, if he had enough energy to tour with 'Visiting Mr Green' then I'm assuming he'll have the energy for Autographica. Hope you continue with the 1970s tv guests, as Autographica seems a much better paced event for the 'elder' celeb, with the opportunity to spend longer with attendees and sign at a much more mellow pace in a less hectic atmosphere.
  14. Oh well, here goes.... I've been to a couple of Collectormanias, and would like to see a few (any would be good!) of the following at C5, if possible: Patrick MacNee and Diana Rigg from the Avengers. Patrick McGoohan from The Prisoner & Dangerman. Joanna Lumley. David McCullum. Roger Moore. Edward Woodward. Christopher Lee. Richard E. Grant. And, just to prove that I am partly hip and almost up to date, anybody from Farscape (but ideally Claudia Black, Ben Browder, Anthony Simcoe, Wayne Pygram or Lani Tupu). Let's have some non-LOTR/Matrix/Harry Potter guests for us oldies. Steps back and lights blue touch-paper for flame war... Cheers! Paul (who remembers a time when Anthony Head was only known for coffee commercials and when Buffy was a crap film with that poncey bloke from Beverley Hills 90210!).
