I had the same experience with Laurie Holden. She wasn't horrible, exactly, just a little bit cold. And I'd seen her be warm to other people in the queue, so I can only assume it was something about me! Excellent review, by the way!

The blond guy talked himself into a hole in the Laurie Holden Sunday talk as well. She said she never watched her performances and he suggested she should because she might see things she could improve on! Talk about foot in mouth.

My bag was not checked at the YALC entrance. Might be something that needs looking into next year as I don't think I saw anyone being checked. In fact, I only knew there were bag checks when I read this thread!

Best LFCC I've been to yet. As everyone else has said, the improved layout and space was a godsend after the sweaty hell that was 2014 and 2015. Please keep it like this, it was actually a joy to just walk around aimlessly looking at the cosplays and stalls. My one negative, and I don't think this has been mentioned yet but apologies if it has, is that although the photo queues were very well managed on the whole, there were occasions when the crew had to be pulled away to attend to something and people took advantage of this to join the queue without knowing or asking what batches had been called. This led to us people who were waiting patiently to be called get frustrated as people just barged past us to get in the queue. I should say that this is absolutely not the crew's fault as they do a very difficult job and have to sometimes be in several places at once, it was just frustrating seeing people who were obeying the rules having to wait forever to join the queue. Overall though, an amazing show. I'm already excited for 2017!

Probably very stupid question, but just want to be thorough about everything. I bought entry for all three days but due to a last minute change will only be attending now on Saturday and Sunday. I'm assuming this is okay and I don't have to get my ticket scanned on Friday? Many thanks.
