  1. Top guest and a great body of work even before he became a Hobbit. The Goonies Memphis Belle Toy Soldiers
  2. Possibly me if i can pluck up the courage to do it lol. Brie bella. Any Nikki Bellas out there?? You could always take a goat with you and see if people get the joke.
  3. She was one of those people who didn't want to make a fuss. Got on with it all and dealt with her fight with cancer very well.
  4. I think the one true role that stands out for me is Mrs Merton
  5. Maybe He-Man but Punisher? I don't even think Thomas Jane is synonymous with that role. It may be a cult favourite but it's hardly revered like Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Wesley Snipe's Blade, Ron Perlman's Hellboy or Ryan Reynold's Deadpool. As I stated, it is down to the person to decide. I totally agree but in a general concencus I don't believe people associate Mr. Lundgren with the Punisher that's just experience from table talk and internet banter...but that's neither here nor there. I mean my wife associates Sylvester Stallone with Stop or My Mom With Shoot or Chris Evans with Not Another Teen Movie... It is funny how people can associate different people with totally different things. If you polled big Marvel fans then I would say that Frank Castle would win. But if you do mainstream film fans then again it would depend on age. Modern day may point towards The Expendables films, but 80s teenagers would probably say Ivan Drago. There are many variables for many different people and then you have even more variables. But to me Dolph is He-Man and The Punisher.
  6. If I was told that I could get an autograph from Jamie (he is not on my list as one to get), then for me it would join one of these collections. The Cleveland Show Jay & Silent Bob King of the Hill Criminal Minds And purely because it is work on franchises that I adore. It is this mindset that got me into the body of work by Jeremy Renner. I met him at a proper hotel based stay over weekend convention about 14 years ago in London that had a Buffy & Angel theme. He was only in one episode, but it was how he was at the convention itself. He came to the parties, drank with the fans and had fun. Top bloke.
  7. It depends on what you best love an actor/ess for. For instance I love Robert Engulund for Freddy and got him to sign my ANOES boxset (1-6) I wouldn't get him to sign The Adventures of Ford Fairlane just to 'stand out'...at the end it'd only be putting me out. Now I genuinely love War of the Buttons and Dog Soldiers so if Liam Cunningham were to be announced (hint, hint) I'd get those 2 DVDs signed in addition to a Ser Davos Seaworth picture; the role he's most probably famous for. I believe you mayhave misunderstood my using the phrase "standing out". I used it in the context that nothing comes to mind that stands out in the format of comign to mind instantly or being a memorable moment/meeting. In other words, everything I have had signed is relevant and/or normal and thus it does not act as a memory bookmark where I go "I remember when I got singer X or actress Y to sign item F or CD H". As regards Englund, I would struggle to remember anything else I have seen him in aside from the Elm Street films. To me Robert is Freddy, Freddy is Robert.
  9. Northing comes to mind as standing out, but I have always tried to find something different to get signed. I hate to go with the flow.
  10. I agree that they have their right to their opinion. What I object to is when they make statements on Facebook, Twitter etc encouraging impressionable fans to their way of thinking. But you can say the same about politicians. Both groups are in positions to sway the way people think. But, if someone is swayed by someone else, then I find that a tad weak as it is down to the individual to find out everything they can before voting. I cannot abide these people in society who blame MPs for the referendum result, yet when challenged about if they had reasons for voting that way or if they researched before voting, so many have said no to both. It is easy to research, if one can be bothered.
  11. I would say Dolph Lundgren is more synonymous with the roles of He-Man and the Punisher. But, as with many actors and actresses, it is down to the person. As regards Englund and Radcliffe, they will pretty muchbe defined by Krueger and Potter.
  12. Poor guy? A right idiot more like. Maybe 5 years ago he would have been fine, but in the past 18 months the world has gone to hell in a handcart
  13. I would not want you to get the hassle the cosplayer who was arrested. Check the link below http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/moment-armed-police-arrest-red-6788212
  14. To me this was a matter of when it would happen and not if. Having lost my brother in law to cancer the signs were there that she was heading down that lonely road with the biggest one when she stopped narrating Gogglebox. She did so much great work and I hope she finds peace and comfort now that she has passed. May her family be strong and remember the good times. It will not be easy as three years later I still grieve for my brother in law. RIP Caroline.
  15. Size means absolutely nothing when it comes to beinf perceived as a terror threat LauraJean. I would strongly suggest contacting them due to the nature of your cosplay mainly because of what I said in my last post to you. There was an incident last year where a cosplayer was out in the city - I believe as the Winter Soldier - and people panicked and the Police called. If in doubt then please be safe and contact the hotel. If only to make sure your event is not spoiled by someone totally misreading your tactical gear outfit.
  16. By tactical gear, do you mean military type gear? I ask only because of the heightened security in recent months due to incidents in Europe and the world. If in doubt, speak to the hotel staff (management), and if it is to wear to the event itself then a coat or hoodie over the top until you get to the event maybe?
  17. All modern computer systems "Windows 8 and beyond" have an automatic translation option installed that kicks in when another language is used for a website that does match the recognised language of your home country which you designate when setting up the computer. This is definitely on Microsoft systems as I am on Windows 8 and looked at a Japanese wrestling website today and the translate option popped up within 10 seconds.
  18. The real face of Eurovision. Oh #LordiLordi
  19. If they are a UK citizen then it is their right to comment as much as it is our own if we are citizens of the UK. It is when non Political or non Financial people from abroad comment as if it will impact them.
  20. Lindsay Lohan needs to be kept away from social media
  21. Well, the UK will never win it again. Far too political. And how can you have Australia in it? My grandfather never got over Israel being in it. Australia at least had entertaining entries. Israel are in because of it being part of the organising body, but you forget Dana International. Bruce > Caitlyn Jenner is just a copycat of Dana International.
