I only went to meet Bob....and on the Friday when his table thought he wasn't going make it at one point! What a hero. Asked him if he would ever release BTTF in 3d and he said no it's designed for 2D. Brilliant guest get the other Bob next year

This was the highlight guest for me this year too.

He really liked my BTTF Live At Royal Albert Hall programme that's been signed by pretty much everyone except for Crispin Glover & Robert Zemeckis.

Cavs I agree, I would TOTALLY love to meet Bob Z. He's done so many of my favourites, BTTF, Roger Rabbit & his Christmas Carol is my favourite version for sure.

  2. I always go for the 3 days but with it being a quieter year for me in terms of guests, I gave myself a 'side mission' to do outside of LFCC so I'd go there for a few hours, do everything I wanted & then I had something to do afterwards so I wouldn't be sat in a hotel room for ages by myself.

I think sometimes people arrange meet ups that are open to anyone so you can always look out for them. :)

  3. So far they've announced Alex Kingston & there's now a Showmasters app.

I'm hanging on in case there's more because they said there might be a few guests but it was all very up in the air.

I think it would be nice if we got a 'that's all the announcements for tonight' post every time so we're not clinging onto our laptops, scared to move in case they suddenly drop a guest we really want.

Some brilliant guest announcements this evening.

Pity some lowlife takes pleasure in spoiling things.

I'm wondering if we can do anything positive to make it up to the Cap/Cevans fans...

  5. I think the only thing I would improve is having actual seats within the venue & not having to sit on the floor. You could quite easily have a big picnic area downstairs & a small coffee zone upstairs. Mobility of some of the attendees is not...great. I often wonder how the folks with crutches/strollers manage to be on their feet all day.

Showmasters might have to cut back on the amount of stalls to create these spaces but let's be real - a lot of the vendors are only selling duplicate items which are available at 10 or so other stalls. It reminds me of when animators repeat the same background in cartoons.

Stolen fan art turned into unofficial Marvel merch stand, t-shirt stand, Japanese food stand, stolen fan art turned into unofficial DC merch stands, SWORDS R US stand, we sell llamas - only llamas stand, cupcake stand, stolen fan art turned into Harry Potter merch stand, more cupcakes stnd, stall selling LED baseball caps, another t-shirt stand, Cats Protection League stand, even more stolen fan art turned into unofficial Sherlock merch stall...
