  1. It's a solid cast resin prop display from PLANET REPLICAS...no soft bullets for a Judge!
  2. Am I okay for wearing my Lawgiver prop replica gun with my judge dredd costume???? I have read somewhere that one person wasn't allowed to bring arrows with his costume...
  3. Already booked tickets for 11am. If I wanted 9am I would have had to have paid adult price for my 9 year old son. We will see how it goes and if need be change for next year. Looking forward to saturday now..
  4. Is it best to buy tickets for 9am or later for 11am. I am bringing my 9year old son and don't want to stand in a queue for too long.
  5. I'm still not sure to buy online or chance it at the door on Saturday. It will just be my son and I , in cos play of course, as my wife is now working that day at the care home. Looking forward to our first visit to this event.
  6. I managed to pick up a couple of medium sized flying reptile toys at Toysrus in East Kilbride yesterday that will do the job. Bought a spare one just in case I damage the first by bending the wings and painting it. Fingers crossed.:-)
  7. I have the complete DREDD costume , the 2012 movie version, and most of the comic version. It's a great buzz when walking the street and see the reactions of people. I have looked at small dragons for the death costume, but they are either too small or too large. It's like a pteranodon/ pterodactyl for that shoulder. Any ideas as time is running out for me on this.
  8. Hi everyone. I am new to these online forums so bear with me. I recently completed a judge dredd costume (2 years in building) for the comic con last month at the Glasgow college of art'. This was my first ever time at cos play. It was a great fun experience especially with my 9year old son as Dennis the Menace. He wanted to meet the folk behind the BEANO Comic. :-) I am almost 50 years old , husband to my wife Grace, father to my 3 beautiful kids. We live in north ayrshire . I am a dedicated 2000AD / Judge Dredd fan. I have every issue since it was first issued back in 1977. One of My life long ambitions was to have my own judge costume , more so after fighting my battle with leukaemia , which was diagnosed back in 2006. After a brutal year or so of treatment and a transplant I was able to eventually get back on my feet and be self employed again. My other life long ambition is to see my kids live long and prosper. Yes I am a bit of a trek fan and Dr Who as well in part. I have done some film extra roles in the past....My last one was a few years back with Robert Duvall, Michael Keaton, and Brian Cox in A Shot At Glory. Quite an experience so it was. Looking forward to more cos play at Braehead later this month.

I'm trying to put a quick budget build Judge Death costume for him to wear to Breahead, but it I'm a bit stuck with the winged dinosaur for the right shoulder. Hopefully I can put it all together in time. We will be there on the Saturday only. Hope to meet a lot of you there. We are located just down the road in Ayrshire.
