  1. Damn. I should have said I was still on FB. Never mind, happy for those who got that special edition .
  2. I was told that I had to like their Facebook page to have a chance of getting one of the bigger packs, but I've come off FB. Shame.
  3. I was given a choice as to which bag I wanted. One was a light coloured tote-kind bag, so I chose the other one. Perhaps the mints only came with that bag (they were pretty hidden at the bottom)...?
  4. I only went the Friday this year but had great experiences. I had photos booked with William Shatner and Billy Dee Williams and never expected to get anywhere near them for an auto. Thanks to fantastic timing, I was able to get personalised autos from each in the morning. BDW was the epitome of cool and we chatted briefly about his voice work in the Robot Chicken shows, but I clammed up when I met Kirk! I was just greatful to say hello and thank you to the legend. I found my voice again when meeting Adam Baldwin (we chatted about filming Full Metal Jacket) and Gina Torres (we chatted about Firefly), and I had a great time talking to David Naughton about American Werewolf in London. Great, great day, and I'm planning on making a weekend of it next year.
  5. I don't remember getting any extra gifts with my Kevin Smith DP a year or so back, so the gifts I got this time (Firefly wallet for Gina Torres and the Showmasters bag with bottle and mints) were all really appreciated. I got a bit confused as it said 'Diamond Pass Collection' by the gift collection area but that was just me not paying enough attention to the floor plan .
  6. I thought her photo session wasn't until 13.45?
  7. Just met the legend. He's dedicating his autos and is very friendly :-)
  8. Saw Fisherman's Friends last night, and he was great in that too.
  9. John Wick is a hot franchise so I'm guessing it might be Keanu....
  10. I asked the lady at the desk why the lights weren't on and was told it was due to health and safety. Shame, as I think they were an integral part of this prop shoot.
  11. Great guest, seemed really pleased when I chose a 'Ghost in the Shell' picture for him to sign and asked if he could sign it in gold :). Great to hear how he approached the role.
  12. Thanks for starting this thread as I've got to give a special mention to Becks and Karim at the information desk. Yesterday I discovered I had lost my folder full of autographs and photos somewhere in Olympia. I arrived breathless at the info desk to tell them what happened and as soon as I began describing the contents, Karim suddenly said "Yes, I found it!". After having little hope that I'd ever get my folder back, the staff saved my weekend. I immediately passed on my thanks to the nearest "red shirt" as well. Thanks also to someone special who kept a cool head and suggest I try the info desk .
  13. I met him when he came down to Brighton this year. He was nice enough but seemed to be a serious guy though. He was happy to personalise although I didn't ask him to put a message or quote. Best of luck.
  14. A few of my piccies.... http://s250.photobucket.com/user/dimpy101/media/Mobile%20Uploads/_20160804_204011.jpg.html?filters[user]=65955604&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=0 http://s250.photobucket.com/user/dimpy101/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG-20160730-WA0104.jpg.html?filters[user]=65955604&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=2 http://s250.photobucket.com/user/dimpy101/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG-20160730-WA0077.jpg.html?filters[user]=65955604&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=1 http://s250.photobucket.com/user/dimpy101/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG-20160730-WA0113.jpg.html?filters[user]=65955604&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=3

  16. Mads was a really great guy to meet. I asked him about the torture scene in Casino Royale, and if he had to practice 'hitting' Daniel Craig with that rope - he said he did and he even hit him a few times! I love this kind of background info. Also, a BIG thankyou to the crew member who was taking pictures for the attendees on Friday (when I got this picture taken) - it was really appreciated. I thanked him at the time but didn't get his name.
  17. Thanks for taking the time to answer, Moderator. Overall, the LFCC experience was a good one, I should just have read the small print regarding pre-orders . Already looking forward to the Winter one...
  18. Hi everyone, The most recent LFCC was my first one and I was only able to attend on Friday. I found it great fun and meeting a few of my heroes was brilliant. Saying that, I was looking forward to a handful of personalised pre-ordered autographs (Bill Paxton, Christopher Lloyd, Hayley Atwell and Iain Glenn) for guests attending on the Saturday and Sunday that I couldn't meet. It was a big disappointment then, to receive my photographs all signed, but with no personalisation at all. And the photo of Iain Glenn supplied was different (and worse, IMHO) to the one offered and chosen on the pre-order page. I realise guests get very busy over the course of the weekend, and not everyone can be catered for, but it was a blow not to have any of my pictures say "To ......". Ah well. I've been refunded three out of the four personalisation fees, which is a good start. I didn't want to make my first post here a complaint, as I really enjoyed the Friday (apart from not getting to meet Robert Englund), but I don't think I'll ever use the pre-ordered autograph service again. A friend suffered exactly the same experience. Hope people managed to get a better pre-order experience than I did. D
