I just go for funko pops, it's easier then trying to figure out what to get signed, plus they are easier to display for me then posters/photos on the walls. I've ordered another scream pop for Jamie and Matthew to sign (already have a signed neve one) and I've orderd a saw one for Tobin. If they don't have a pop then I do get the photo/Photoshoot signed 🤓

As long as you can do it fast then absolutely. I have only had about 2 photoshoots still in my crew shirt the entire time I've been crewing (just over 6 years now). I usually wear something under my crew shirt (long sleeved top at colder venues, vest top at LFCC!) so I can either just wear that or it makes it easy for a 'change as I walk' otherwise. I was mainly coming for Clare Higgins, so I waited until the schedule was released before I booked my train from Glasgow. When I saw she wasn't going to be doing her shoot till nearly 5 I booked my train to arrive for 12. Got cheap entry. It was pretty busy when I got there, queue was round the side. Got in pretty quick. Probably the cheap entry that brought people to the show. Grabed an auto from Ricco Ross and then walked around the stalls, nothing really took my fancy. Watched nearly all the talks to pass time. Grabed some overpriced food. Then just waited about really. There wasn't any guests I wanted to meet other then Clare and Ricco. This was my second Newcastle Con. I was happy to pay to meet Clare after she cancelled last time and I couldn't afford to go to London in Feb. So I am glad I managed to finally meet her. i wouldn't have went if she had not of been there. And I didn't book my train tickets until the last minute in case she had to cancel again 🤓

This was my fave part of the day! She was so excited to be at the con. She said she was so impressed with all the cosplayers creativity etc. Such a lovely genuine woman, a much bigger fan of hers now I've met her!

Glad I finally got to meet her after missing her last year. She was genuinely such a nice person, so friendly and chatty. Loved her interaction with everyone there. She was funny at the dr who talk 👍

Hi, with the Ramada you're right in Solihull town centre. If you're driving it's about 15-20 minutes max from where you are, you just need to connect up to the A45 and follow signs for the airport. Alternatively, you can get the 966 Bus from Solihull town centre, takes about 35-40 minutes to get to International station but you can walk straight through undercover to the NEC from there. Cool! I booked the Ramada in Solihull. Does anyone know if that's pretty easy to get to/from the NEC? Never been before
