Totally agree, these two legends were the highlight of my weekend. I got two sketches from Carlos Ezquerra (currently being framed) and a series of books signed by them both. Wagner was brilliant to talk to and had so many stories to tell on the background of Dredd and working with other writers and artists. Well done SM for making Dredd a feature at this years show.

Has anyone met Rutger Hauer yet?
FurryHamster replied to spgyid's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2016
I met him this afternoon and he was brilliant, swore like a trooper and had time to talk to everyone. I got a great story about Bladerunner and he seemed in a genuinely good mood. Really pleased I decided to see him (helped by getting a low VT first thing). Cannot say a bad word about the guy and would thoroughly recommend anyone to stop by and see him -
I'm aiming to get there about 7.30, I'm after Peter Mayhew, Kim Coates and Rutger Hauer - going straight to get VT tickets then I can relax and enjoy the day. Having missed out on Stan Lee by being 1 person too far back in the queue, I have learnt my lesson of getting low numbers.

Hi, an excellent selection of information for newbie and repeat visitors - a question for the Show Info section - is there a 'bag drop' or cloakroom area?

Latest Comic Guest Announcement - JOHN WAGNER
FurryHamster replied to SM Comic Zone's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2016
It think, IIRC, that the comic book guests don't charge for auto's but do for commissions. I'm not sure what the case would be if you wanted a lot of stuff signed, but for 1 or 2 items I don't believe they charge. I've seen people get 20, 30+ comics signed with no problem - other than irritate the queue of people waiting behind them. JW is really good at signing and very happy to talk to people while he is doing it. -

Excellent guest, always a pleasure to talk to. -
Just as an aside - I saw the T 1000 on Saturday afternoon and the head was there - just it looked very sad and was looking at his/its feet. So if a con-goer can kill a T-1000 by breaking his neck then Judgement Day can be avoided and we are all saved.

That's a real shame I have been waiting a few years to meet him for my Voyager cast photo - oh well as others have said, more money left over for other things -

Latest Guest Announcement - SIGOURNEY WEAVER
FurryHamster replied to showmasters's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
I'm seriously considering the Diamond Pass for this truly awesome guest. A question and forgive me if this has been answered, but having read the last 18 pages - I don't think it has. Apart from the Weaver talk on Sunday will all the other photo shoots and talks take place on the Saturday? I'm only able to attend Saturday and didn't want to get the DP if the photo shoots were 50/50 Saturday/Sunday Thanks in advance- 633 replies
