You need to be there at the exact time (tomorrow) ONLY if you're interested by the guest. But, some response of this topic are true : we don't really need to be there, the tickets are rarely sold out, and we can buy via smartphone (never try that, but i will :-) )

Hello, Here is a suggestion for the guests annoucements. Make a post 5 days in advance on twitter and facebook with clue is cool :-) (for the guessing game and to prepare ourself to buy the diamond pass) But, last times, with the "3-4-5 days suspens" (and sometimes the overhype), I was behind my computer 30min before, and press "refresh" ;-) (like a good number of us I suppose :p), I organize my evening for that, to be sure to have a ticket. And, when it's the time of the annoucement, I said "Great guest, but not for me", and I'm already waiting the next annoucement Maybe, SM can do exactly the same (Twitter, facebook ==> then the annoucement) BUT at the time of the annoucement : "Here is our new guest - tickets on sale tomorrow at 7PM" Why ? It allows us to not be behind our computer, at the exact time of the annoucement for buying ticket, IF the guest is not for us. When you see the guest is for you (maybe just on your phone, 1 hour later because you're not at home), you will be there the next day for sure at the exact time, and If not, you don't have to plan you're evening to be behind your computer for the annoucement. Quite the same system for "tickets concert" (but here, it's just one day to wait to buy). What do you think ? (sorry for my bad english, speaking french ;-) )

For me : 3 possibilities : Harrison Ford Ian McKellen James Earl Jones "we have a big guest announcement and it is legendary!" : The 3 are legendary for me "This will be something that people will talk about for years and look back and say this was the show where it happened." Do you remember when Sigourney Weaver was annouced in 2015 ? "The biggest we had ever", Seems it's the same kind of annoucement. But Harrison and Ian fit more for me for this clue. They are a lead; Harrison is the leader of the Millenium Faulcon Ian leads the "fellowship of the ring", and leads the rebels mutants in X-Men. JEJ : Darth Vader leads the Empire (with the Emperor) They have never been to a comic con or signing event where they have signed or done photo ops anywhere in the world ever; Its someone we never thought we would get to one of our events let alone any event anywhere Well, I think if someone knows about one of the 3, just tell here :-) This is a very important guest in our hobby and this will most likely be their only event that they will attend; Jason is a huge fan of Star Wars, so... Maybe +1 for Harisson and JEJ Many many of the fans will need this person's autograph to complete their collection. We've seen many Star Wars guest across years at LFFC, so... +1 harisson and JEJ We've seen guest from LOTR and X-Men, but not so many than Star Wars So : 1) Harisson Ford 2) James Earl Jones 3) Ian McKellen and if i'm wrong, and it's Robert Downey Junior... AMAZING !!!!

Maybe the end of Goldpass must be considered (and the VQ too) If on a 3 days week-end, I use for 4 guests (I mean Guest who is not a Diamond guest AND who have a VQ queue), Goldpass is not so good. Ok, we can have a low VQ ticket (If we can enter before GA, and IF the crew gives the VQ before 9am...) For me, the best way is : - Diamond Pass (Full package guaranteed) - Emerald Pass (Autograph guaranteed, working with batches, like the photoshoot) (So SM know how many people want an autograh, and SM can organise the day) ==> When all "Diamond" and "Emerald" are done : Open the queue freely (probably in the end of the day ,It's already like this now, but not officially : VQ will pass on the end of the day for Diamond guest, IF they can join the queue) - Photo (classic buying on the store, work very well with batches, and it's guaranteed too) And if SM wants to maintain GOLDPASS for early entrance and "semi-priority" for the photoshoot. They can ! :-) I will probably buy it if the price is reduce. With this, it's probably the end of frustration to miss the opportunity for an autograph. The "VQ" will be on the "Emerald Pass", and when it's sold out, it's sold out. (then, the only chance, it's at the end of the day, and you know it, before coming to the show)

Hello, Here is my feelings about the LFFC 2017 :-) Very nice Week-end ! I met a lot of great guests ! I hope to come next year ! So for all of that, thanks SM and the crew. But, there are somethings we can improve, to make the experience greater ! I was a goldpass holder. With DP of Benedict Cumberbach, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tom Wilson. I came all the 3 days,, each day, with 3 or 4 differents posters to get sign in tube. (It's important, because I can't take all of the posters each days, I have to plan which day / which posters) So, the first problem : the goldpass and the benefits of it. - 5 min earlier entrance, to get low VQ tickets Friday : OK Saturday : GA enter at the same time. (!!!!!!!), that was crazy in the stairs. Sunday : 5 min earlier ok, but the crew didn't gave the VQ ticket untill 9am (at least for Christopher Lloyd) (!!!!!?????) And some of the crew, instead of giving VQ tickets, start to talk with other crew and attendees (!!!???) With the amounts of Diamond guests, VQ tickets became the main problem, even for the goldpass holders. With some really slow signers, sometimes the VQ tickets is reaching barely 150 (!!??) - The non-VQ guests Ok, Goldpass can join the back of "any" queue, but with no VQ tickets, people goes easily on those queue, and there are LONG. For example : Dave Prows on friday, at least 50 people in front of me. And when it's (literaly) my turn. The crew stop and say "sorry we go on the photoshoot" (!!!???) The crew are supposed cut the queue before that happens ! And empty the queue before leaving to the photoshoot. Response of the crew : "It's not my job to do that" (??!!) So, I use the privilege of my goldpass for 4 guests : Ian McDiarmid, and Mark Williams, Michael Madsen, and the twins Phelps. For David Bradley, I just can't enter in the queue (crew don't let me, even with my goldpass) because the queue was too long. and on sunday, I missed Christopher Lloyd, because i have to leave the show at 15h30 (he star signing VQ at 16h, on sunday...) For the slow signers, I think Showmasters have to take ther responsabilities, and goes to the guest, and tell there are hundreds of people who want to meet him. Imagine if Benedict Cumberbach does the signature sloooooooowwwww... - The photoshoot : it's nice to be called "first", but after the diamond pass, it's at the end of the photoshoot session in the morning. So for me "nice" it's not enough for 225£ The second problem : the diamond pass I have 3 : Benedict / Mads / Tom Wilson (I'm lucky i can afford 3) When you have a Diamond Pass, it's great ! You have the priority and the garantee of the autograph and the photoshoot (even for a talk) ==> Don't change that !!! The problem, it's when a guest "coming back" like Christopher Lloyd, I don't bought the diamond pass, because I have already 3 photos with him, so I will take my chance with my goldpass and VQ ticket (number 19, and I missed it...) The number of Diamond guests and the amount of people who take DP create another BIG problem : The Schedule (for bigger guest) Why ? Because, if you don't have a DP or a goldpass, you just can't do autographs and photoshoots in the morning, because you will pass after Diamond pass and goldpass. So all your activities went on the afternoon, so : CLASH after CLASH. My suggestion is make two different type of Diamond pass : Diamond Complete package (auto + photo) Diamond for autograph (the price of the auto + the price of the guarantee) Don't say : "we can't say how many autographs a guest can sign on a day" ==> You know it... if you can sell the actuals diamond passes packages. ==> NOW, you CAN'T say if an attendee will take 1 or 5 autographs With this system, you can schedule better the time for signing. (Like you do for Benedict Cumberbach) And if it still time at the end of the day : you open the queue. ==> The VQ tickets become "pre-sale autographs guarantee" (No more running in the morning) ==> You sells them by day (like you do for photoshoot on diamond pass) ==> you know exactly the number of autographs an attendee will take (1 to 5 on his Diamond autograph package) ==> when it still time at the end of the day, attendees can go freely in the queue. Of course, those suggesntions deserve certainly to be improve. Like i say in the beginning, it was a terrific Week end ! Thanks SM, and thanks for all the crew !!!! See you next year !

So, for my experience this year at LFFC... all kinds : good, wonderfull, bad, and very bad... I know in one week , i will forgot all the bad things, and just remembrr the good ones. It was a terrific week end, meeting awesome guests ! For that, thanks a lot SM and all the crew !!! But... I have a goldpass DP tom wilson, DP Benedict Cumberbach, DP Mads Mikkelsen 14 photoshoots For me, my goldpass was not so usefull... Friday, entranve ok (5min before GA) Saturday, well, GA enter before me... Sunday (I enter 5min earlier, but the crew don't give me VQ untill 9am for Christopher Lloyd, so I was stuck ! VQ tickets and Goldpass... great idea ! Unless not all the guests have a VQ ticket So, long queue to get guests from Rogue One, Dave Prowse !!! Why !? Why you don't VQ all the guest ? For Dave Prowse, I join (i have the goldpass privilege) to join the back of the queue... of 50 persons. So... I queue... and when after 40min it's my turn. Dave goes on photoshoot!!!! i said to the crew they have to cut the line before doing that !!! response : " it's not my job to do that" ... my goldpass is used to get 2 autograph : Ian mcdiarmid, and Mark Williams i can't get David bradley because there is a too long queue ! red shirt don't let me in the queue with my goldpass !!?? Goldpass is really a lot of money to accept this kind of stuff but for DP it was great ! Supernguest ! :-) thanks for the week end !!! Great work !!! Hipe to come next year !!!

I think you will not have the same speech if you spend 250£ for a goldpass, and see GA enter before you and take low VQ ticket first. take a goldpass is a choice to have the benefit to enter earlier and Before the GA. it's quite simple to apply the rules / promises from showmaster : "goldpass enter first and before GA (5min)" NOT at the same time ! Goldpass cost a lot of money

I agree, I like "Showmasters show" and I can wait the event ! But I have the feeling that Goldpass holder's are disadvantaged with an addition of small problems : We have to queue to collect our diamond pass at the opposite of the goldpass entrance. (Ok, it's just the first day, but still... Like BeJones90 said, we spend a lot of money for the goldpass, to NOT queue) Then we have to go back, to the goldpass queue (at the opposite of the "Diamond collection") Then, we start the day and we have to cross the venue to get the VQ tickets. (With the number of diamond guest, it's a run !) Ok, the 5min entrance is not the only benefit of the goldpass across the week end , but please, can we have at least the guarantee than all the goldpass line will enter BEFORE the general entrance opens his doors ? Like I said, I really like LFFC, and I believe it will be an incredible week end ! :-) Just afraid of what I read about last year for the Goldpass situation. Can't wait ! :-) !!!!!

So, if I understand all correctly : From the station, on friday, I go on gate H to collect my diamond passes, (i have to pass a bag check for that) then, I go out, i go back to gate B, to pick up my goldpass wristband, and then, I go in the goldpass queue (who is on Gate B too?)

Ok, sorry but I have a confusion with the photoshoot for Tom Wilson with my diamond pass. With the diamond pass, is it the photoshoot : "Tom Wilson + Tombstone" ? (or the normal photoshoot). It sould be the "Tom Wilson + tombstone", it's on the description) My confusion is because on the schedule V2 Saturday there is (at 12h30) "TOM WILSON" Diamond first, then Goldpass... (on the regurlar photoshoot) So ? with the Tom wilson diamond pass, is it the regurlar or the tombstone (like it's written on the descritpion of the diamond pass)

And they check the bags where ? inside ? (for Goldpass entrance)

Sorry but i don't understand what I have to do on friday ? I have a goldpass. So, from "Kensignton Olympia station", I go on Olympia way (to gate B - Olympia Grand ?) to collect my Goldpass (the wristband) ? Or I go to Gate H in Olympia West haal to scan my tickets ? My confusion went from this line : " The West Hall and Gold Pass area will start scanning and issuing of wristbands at the following approximate times Fri 8am Sat 7am Sun 8am " Thx for your help :-)
