I was only there on the Saturday so missed some great Friday and Sunday only guests.
I would really have liked to meet Genevieve Gaunt as I am currently watching Knightfall.
Did anyone meet her? Was she a great guest to meet?
Hopefully she'll be back another time.
Genevieve Gaunt was very chatty at her table and was pleased to see a number of people getting Knightfall photos to be signed. She was also doing selfies, which I often seem to forget to ask to have done, but I got one with her :)

Ahhh them good old Newcastle cons, shame they are gone :-( I took a few family members and they loved it. Most people cannot get to London, so it was great having Newcastle on our door steps. Sadly no more it seems.
It's a shame about the Newcastle Cons... possibly one day they will be back. Luckily, I live down south, so I have the best of both worlds.

I do show my family who are interested... in fact I waxed lyrical so much after attending my first Con that when Showmasters announced their first Newcastle Con my Dad asked for tickets, so I took him along. I didn't think he would be able to do all the standing around, but I ended up taking him to the next two up there.

An absolute pleasure meeting him. I was a little disappointed when I got his autograph that I didn't shake his hand, but that was all remedied for the photo when he greeted everyone one with a hand shake, smile and nod... legend!

A lovely guest, very chatty when getting her autograph and she remembered me at the photo-shoot... probably because I mentioned how close our birthdays are to each other (I'm 6 days older than her)... Leos Rule was her reply
