How about The Mythbusters? (Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman) It's the last season of their show and they are currently touring all over the US doing a live show, so could incorporate something from that into a talk/discussion. With Adam Savage being a MASSIVE collector and former prop designer for Industrial Light and Magic and often attending conventions throughout the year (out of choice) it doesnt seem that far fetched that he would consider coming to London. Also hes part of Tested and they also hold live shows to demonstrate stuff with the other member so theres another possibility. Well Breakfast Club and Goonies were both 30 this year, how about a belated celebration next year? have loads of 80's film icons, the cosplay alone would be great

Next year is the 30th anniversary of one of the greatest movies ever Ferris Bueller and if LFCC can reunite BTTF then the cast Ferris Bueller should be no problem. Having Matthew Broderick, Mia Sara, Alan Ruck, Jennifer Grey and Jeffery Jones together to celebrate would be a big draw to next years festivities What does everyone think? If we show support for it this early it gives them plenty of time to attempt to make it actually happen I think its time to finally SAVE FERRIS
