The Pink Lady

Arwel's galleries are AMAZING! There's weeks' worth of entertainment there for me, poring over the details of the sets. Yet another indicator of how much time and thought goes into all the work on Sherlock. We're so lucky to be able to talk to Arwel again in October!

I know exactly how you feel. With the last two events, I had written off any chance of Martin being there from the outset, because he just doesn't do this sort of thing. But this time we all seemed to get a sense that it might be a possibility! If that is what's announced tomorrow, I'll be soooo glad for our friends over the water, but just like you, apprehensive that it means Birmingham is out. But I keep remembering the words if Doris Day : Que sera, sera, whatever will be, will be!

Oh, they're quite good. Hmm, might leave it a bit closer and see what else emerges, or just go with the Chronicles. There's plenty of time to decide!

I'm very excited about the whole thing. I forget for a bit that it's happening, then suddenly, "Oh, yeah!" - and I get all fizzy. I will be available during the drinks receptions for hiding behind, making conversation with to cover embarrassment and/or nervousness, and any other helpful services!

I've got almost everyone (I'm looking at you, Freeman) in my Chronicles, so maybe I'll just go with that and ignore the fact it doesn't cover S4 or TAB.

As stupid as this seems in the excitement of even the possibility of Martin I hadn't even really thought of this side of it, that if he did come, and Benedict as well, the possibility exists to get a shoot with the 2 of them on the genuine 221B! The though is slightly overwhelming Oh my good grief, I hadn't even thought of that till now, and now I can't picture anything else... What would you pay for a seat in the client's chair between them, or standing by the 221B fireplace together... *goes off with the Sherlock fairies*

I've just found out that the director who did such a wonderful job on The Final Problem, Benjamin Caron, has received so much abuse about it that he's deleted his Twitter account. I am shocked to hear all these idiots behaving this way. They don't own the show or the characters and have no right to do this. Please can we invite Benjamin to the convention to show him some genuine Sherlock love? And any or all of the other directors?

"You know my methods, John. I am known to be indestructible." Bear in mind we still don't know for certain how Sherlock survived jumping off Barts - the explanation he gave Anderson was one possibility but he refused to tell John!

Too many thoughts to put much down yet, but I thought it was incredible, perfect, such high quality in everything. Terrifying, funny, and made me cry several times. Mark Gatiss was particularly strong, but all three leads were award worthy. Count Fooku - I did spot Molly coming in, in a stripy cardigan in the montage at the end, as it was speeding up. I was looking for her! They did such a good job that, if it's the last, I am surprised to find I am okay with that.

Maybe they'll have a few. One of the Belstaffs was altered to fit Lara Pulver so there's hope for those of us who aren't six feet tall, too. If I put Ben's one on, the sleeves would be down to my knees and it would be dragging on the ground!

Oh my! I'd missed that! This is going to be FUN.
