I came up with a group from the south coast and we had a great day out on the Sat. The outside queue was a bit daunting, but when we found the end it didn't seem to take that long, maybe because of all the great cosplay. Inside was hot, so anything to help cool it down would be great. Maybe have a Mr Freeze set we can cool down in. I think a rest area would be a great improvement, it doesn't need to be anything fancy, maybe on the theme of a mediaeval banqueting hall😀. The age range for our group was 8 to somewhere over 50 o erall enjoyed it and managed to purchase items for stuff they were interested in and we would go again.

Actually that is one thing I haven't considered what a hobbit would smell like☺.

At the moment I'm fluctuating between nerves an excitement, I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, but I'm 42 trying to look like a hobbit. I've enjoyed trying to source all the bits as cheap as possible, its just wearing it now on the 2 hour train journey there and back and at the restaurant in the evening. The good thing is I am with family and friends, some cosplaying some not.

Always something to worry about. I'm just getting over the worries of tickets, validations and id for this one, Im preparing to go as a hobbit and attempting to adapt my sandals to look like large feet. I'm a bit of a bodger so more likely to look like sandals than large feet☺. I'm coming by train from the south coast.

As each year goes by and people realise its going to sell out then people will be forced to buy earlier and earlier. Those that missed out this year will buy earlier next year. Also its funny for something where you are in two minds about going, as soon as it is sold out you really want to go.☺

I think it's too close to the show now for SM to implement anything that will truly stop people, but spot checks may put some of them off or catch some. The real discussion is what they can do for next year. True. You could limit the number of tickets sold to an individual maybe to 6. Could you have a website where people finding for whatever reason they no longer need a ticket go on a waiting list, so that when the event does sell out people wanting to go can buy the tickets. The people buying would buy at normal price, people selling at a bit less to cover the costs. Could this be done right up to entrance time?

I'm not sure if spot checks will stop the problem, if the event is sold out and someone is desperate to get in, they maybe willing to gamble on not being checked.

I'm assuming that will be the case, being a hobbit up from the shires I know at some point I will be yearning for the wind in my my hair and grass beneath my feet.

I remember last time i was at the Olympia last time LFCC had it there they have a balcony over looking the hall. i used to sit on the ground up there and eat my sandwich or just read books i got and had a good rest. it's also a lovely place to people watch as you have a pretty cool view of all the many many people below you. Is it possible to go outside without going outside?☺ How do you mean? all i know about going outside is they stamp the back of your hand so you can get back in. Just me being extremely lazy, I was wondering if there was an outside area with out actually having to go back out pass security and having your hand stamped.

If you take your own food will there be somewhere where you can sit and eat it?

Looks really good. If all goes to plan I will be a fellow hobbit i will be attempting the elven cloak and leaf clasp look from the LotR era.
