  1. Just a wee observation, but is there no such thing as a family early entry ticket? Thanks guvnor.
  2. Thanks x-man, don't know how I didn't see Brian cairns say the same earlier in the thread! Top fellas, enjoy the day!
  3. Yeah, I've got 'how's Bristol rugby club coming along this season' and 'thanks for saving the lives of me and my school friends green cross code man'. One other tiny question guys, can I nip out for a while? I can get in from 9, david not doing fotos till 12ish, was just in case wee rowan needs a breather from the fantastic goings on.
  4. Again, you guys are the best. I will also work on thinking of something less stupid than 'what was it like being darth vader' to david.
  5. Many thanks indeed dude, just wasn't sure of the format. As billy dee Williams has cancelled, I may well buy another foto with David prowse, in order to get myself and Rowan in. I'm sure if I buy one on the day, that will do fine. If I want one signed, am I best to source a ticket for queuing early on, as I've an early entry ticket? (Honestly, I'm thicker than granny's gravy)
  6. Hi guys, also a first timer, and will be bringing my 6 year old. Have purchased early entry tickets, and staying locally. Bought photo shoot with David prowse, and photo shoot schedule has just a 10 minute block, how does that work?! Also, do I need another ticket once I'm there, for queuing for the foto? Me and Roman looking forward to meeting darth vader tho! Thanks for everyone's help too, glad I found this thread!
  7. Matthewman Again, swell advice. We are booked to stay across at a hotel nearby, so will scoff up early, but aim for an 845 arrival. Will try to get the major stuff done first then take time to wander. I shall bring another curly wurly!
  8. @JDPManjoume Great advice, and many thanks. I can see me taking the cup of tea route in. I think I shall stick with the photo shoots, but either let wee Rowan get his photos with them, but perhaps even ask them cheekily if he can nip in with me. You can only ask I guess. Remember to wear a badge, so I know who to hand the curly wurly to!
  9. Hi dudes. I am a showmasters Virgin, looking for a ticky advice regarding my first visit. I'm bringing my 6 yr old son with me, having purchased a photo with darth and lando (their real names eh). I have purchased the early bird tickets, so hoped for some of you fine regulars to give me any advice on my day. Should I be there for 9am, should I be there for 8am? Can I sneak the wee lad into the photo with me? How do I get the best out of our day? All help is appreciated greatly, even offer you a curly wurly for the efforts. Kind regards!
