Well I never did get my email But it didn't matter. :) I had a great time. It was only my second con ( I went to the first Sherlocked 2 years ago). The crew were amazing, they were always helpful and cheerful. Please pass on my thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make it happen!

Still no email. I'll be at the hotel early this afternoon, so I'll just go and talk to the nice people when I register. Its no biggy, but I was planning to be organized and have the timetables printed out and highlight my bits. I'm mildly narked that after buying a platinum ticket, I don't get my timetable. I'll print off the timetables from the website. (and yes, I have checked my junk email folder :) ) See you all there!!!! Jill

Two weeks to go. Ticket bought? Check Hotel Booked? Check Train ticket booked? Check Time off work booked? Check. I do need some enthusiasm though. I need to re-watch seasons 1 and 2, and delete most of season 3 and 4 from the mind palace!

I'm thinking that as the play is in London and the con is in Birmingham, the chances of him giving up his day off to travel to the con are pretty low. If nothing else, he will probably want to save his voice.

I think I will wait a bit before I buy. I got Gold last time, which I thought was a great package, I got photos with all the guests including Ben. Gold is not as good as last time, so I would want to go for Platinum, but that's a lot more money. If I'm going to get Platinum, I would want to know that there was at least a chance to meet Ben and/or Martin. If there is no chance of a photo shoot with one of them, I might just get a standard ticket and buy the photo shoots / autographs that I really want (Rupert Graves, Andrew Scott, Una Stubbs). There's no mad rush, I don't think I bought my ticket straight away last time.

I have a gold ticket. Do I need to buy a ticket to the screening with BC as well, or is it included? BTW, the formatting of the list of photo shoots is a bit off. I can't see the details of some of the shoots/talks as they are hidden behind the header for the next section. Sorry to moan about an otherwise great site, but I'm a computer programmer by trade and that sort of thing always catches my eye! Really looking forward to this weekend, It looks great! JIll

As someone who hasn't been to a con before, can you give a bit more information about how the parties will be organised? I have Gold Ticket. Do I have to decide which parties I go to, or will I be told? Or can I go into duck into both and decide which one I want to stay at? How long will they last? I assume I will have to pay for my drinks, but will there be any other extras, raffles, spot prizes etc. Will the (lead) guest be at the parties? Do I have to go in fancy dress? Its not quite my thing, I was going to just go in something partyish, but not themed. Sorry if these are silly questions, but as I say, this is my first con. Thanks in advance.
