  1. I just found out The Demon Headmaster is being released on DVD for the first time on 14th May. Don;t suppose there's any chance of getting Terrence Hardiman? Used to terrify me watching it as a kid but I can;t wait to rewatch to see what it looks like now.
  2. Any chance of getting Andy De La Tour? Was in Rouge One (though personally want to meet him due to his status as a pioneer of alternative comedy!)
  3. I echo this sentiment completely, the best guest experience I've ever had too. It helped that Bodger and Badger was my favourite show as a kid, but the fact that he was so nice and refused to charge me a penny for any of the Bodger and Badger stuff! Chatted about the series at length and Badger called me one of his 'mashy mates', got a photo too. This news has gotten to me almost as much as when I heard Victoria Wood died. Off to watch some episodes of YouTube (because infuriatingly the BBC still haven't released it on DVD!)
  4. After all these cancellations, Robert Llewellyn was the only guest I wanted to meet. Oh well, at least I can save my money and not go, hopefully next year though!
  5. I haven't read through the whole thread so no idea of this has been mentioned, but the best guest experience I ever had was meeting Andy Cunningham (and Badger!) earlier this year at the London show. Is there any chance that he is interested in returning for this or a future show?
  6. Has Colin Salmon ever done cons? I'd love to meet him
  7. Wow! Well done Showmasters, great guest! One of the only highlights of the excrable Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever is his fight scenes.
  8. Meeting Andy Cunningham (Bodger and Badger) in London was one of the best guest experiences Ive ever had, so if it would be possible to get him along to Bournemouth that would be fantastic. Oh, and anyone from Veronica Mars if at all possible?
  9. It's nice that his first experience of a con was a good one. So do you think he will agree to come to future shows, maybe Bournemouth or the Summer one? I really hope so!
  10. If Andy and the woman who voiced Mousey turned up together that would be a treat. I cared more about meeting him than Nick Frost!
  11. If it would be at all possible to get Andy Cunningham (and Badger!) to this one that would be a treat. He was absoluey fantastic at the London Spring Con.
  12. I cannot emphasise enough how good a guest Andy (or Bodger as I imagine he will forever be known) was. Genuinely the best guest experience I've ever had. Signed all the Bodger photos for free and my live DVD,with Badger by his side. The glee on my face must have been a sight! Childish? Perhaps, but proud of it! I really, really hope he continues to come to cons, so I might actually talk about the series a little.
  13. Maybe it's a bit late, but how awesome would it be to get Peter Capaldi! Oh, not for Doctor Who, I mean because he and Lawson were in one of the best films ever made, Local Hero. Any other cast members from that would be ace! Peter Riegert, or even Bill Forsyth. (Oh also if you haven't seen it, Lawson was great in Steven Mofatt's Jekyll).
  14. Oh. My. God. I hope it;s not an overreaction to say that this may be my favourite guest ever! I mean come on, Bodger and Badger? Such a great line up, never thought I'd be able to meet Denis Lawson too! Oh also can I ask, will Andy be doing a photoshoot with Badger?
  15. Danny was at LFCC a few years ago and was a really great guest, taking time with everyone and he gave an excellent talk during which he rang Robert Rodriguez and got us all to shout "Hurry Up and make Machete" (that gives you an idea of how long ago it was) to him. That's great, he always seems like a lovely guy in interviews. One of the hardest working and, in the scheme of things, most underappreciated actors, well, ever. I mean look at his IMDB credits!
