  1. Great news indeed. I’m having trouble in finding the paid E.T. talk on Sunday. Can anyone else find it? Thanks
  2. No, you won't need an entry ticket. Thank you!
  3. Hi, I have a ticket for Sunday as I'm arriving late afternoon on Saturday, but was thinking of going to Shatner's World Saturday evening. Do i need a Saturday pass in addition to a ticket to Shatner's world, or can i just get a ticket to Shatner's World? Thank you.
  4. Booked! Great news. Really want to hear what the good man has to say.
  5. Hi, any idea where Catherine is signing tomorrow? Is it near the prop area where Bill and Christopher were signing today? I only ask because I know that the previously published floor plan has changed. Thanks
  6. Hi, i was just planning my journey for Saturday and Sunday and noticed that the London travel website ( saying: "During the Marathon registration period at ExCeL London from Wednesday 22 until Saturday 25 April, large crowds are expected and services will be busier than usual so plan ahead accordingly if you usually use Custom House for ExCeL... Registration is likely to be busiest on Friday and Saturday, so you are advised to reconsider travelling to and from Custom House for ExCeL station on these days if you are not involved with the Marathon." So, just wanted to warn people (if they hadn't already become aware of it) that it's going to be busier around that DLR stop (which I assume most of us on the DLR will be using for ExCel) and to give plenty of time to get there. Have the con advisers got any additional info/advice/guidance on this? I'm hoping that the Marathon registration area of the ExCel is a bit further away from where we're going to be? Thanks
  7. Hi, please can you let me know the procedure for comic and book guests. Do we still pay for autos or just have to buy their book/comic on the day? In fact, if we've already got something of theirs we want signing might they also sign that if we buy something from their desk? Thanks for your help. Nick
  8. Hi, when do we find out where Gold ticket holders have their Photo taken on a set? As I see it, that could be Mycroft's office or 221B, so would be good to know now which it will be in case I need to buy a photo op for the other set. For example, if the Gold ticket is giving me a photo on Mycroft's office then I'll want to buy a 221B ticket when they go on sale tomorrow. Thanks.
  9. Sometimes photos don't go on sale straight away. That's not unusual. Thank you for checking it wasn't just me going mad!
  10. Anyone care to help a newbie like me? I've gone to the page to buy a photo ticket and can find no mention of Sherilyn anywhere. Anyone had any luck? Thanks.
  11. Too Tall's reply from the separate topic about the e-tickets: Thank you for replying. I still don't know what the e-validation actually is, but hey, maybe some Sherlock sleuth out there can help me? To be honest, 'admin fee' would have worked fine! :)
  12. Hi It looks like I’m not alone in having problems with the e-validation option. I’m glad to see that you are emailing out to those people who didn’t select the mandatory option to get the £2.50 to validate the ticket. Please don’t see these as criticisms, I think that only by sharing customer feedback is it possible to make future transactions less hassle. I would make the following observations: If this was a mandatory purchase then why was it not AUTOMATICALLY added to the bill? It’s not like we had any choice, so why not just add it and that way people wouldn’t miss it? In the heat of crashing servers and trying to grab tickets before they all went, it’s very easy to see how the option could be missed. It wasn’t obvious you had to select the item AND tick the box. Users are under a lot of pressure at this stage and desperate to complete the purchase rather than try to interpret less than clear instructions. What exactly does the e-validation do? Is it possible to get your ticket emailed to you without it? If so, I wonder how many people will turn up on the day with their tickets (potentially having spent £2,600)and not realise the problems they will have in getting in? I think we’re all used to paying extras (admin and booking fees), but I genuinely don’t understand what the e-validation does? That said, please don’t see this as a moan. I genuinely am looking forward to this event. Just after a bit of clarity. Thanks. Nick
