There is so much that can be said about Joanie Laurer aka Chyna, but unfortunately any look back at here career to the modern day would be a combination of both good and bad. So, simply out of respect all I can say as a wrestling fan is that I hope Joanie finds the peace she was so desperately looking for in her latter years. Gone so early. I hope her family and friends get the support they will need to get through this.

Good to see Angelina working so quickly after giving birth. I wonder if Showmasters can get her other half and baby daddy Davey Richards

I caught this news this evening on the way home. Another person taken by cancer and so young. I look forward to her shwos being shown on TV soon.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Chase and she is wonderful.

This would defeat the whole purpose of such security checks. These type of checks are becoming common place at events whether you have a gathering of people in a facility. Music concerts, gigs, night clubs, sports stadiums and the list grows each day. Whilst there are people out there who want to create chaos, death and devistation, then security checks are needed. As the saying goes, if you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to worry about.

In a somewhat sad turn of events, due to getting behind on rent, the main TNA offices in Nashville are being evicted on May 1st and will be moving to a warehouse the company use to run the merchandise side of the business. A sad state of affairs for a company that was red hot until 5 years ago.

Although not known the full extent of the calf injury sustained, WWE announced that Bray Wyatt had suffered an injury vs Roman Reigns during his match on the first night of the European tour. A very innocuous incident caused the match to end before Road Agents backstage sent down other wrestlers to fill time with an eventual impromptu title match of Reigns vs Sheamus. At this time it is not known how long Wyatt will be out.

If you love personality in your wrestlers, then hit YouTube and search for the Bullet Club Elite aka "The Cleaner" Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. If you thingk DX were risque and near the knuckle, then you have not seen anything yet!

After a torrid time of injuries for the WWE, and the out of the blue retirements of Bryan "Daniel Bryan" Danielson and his wife Brianna "Brie Bella" Danielson due to injuries from multiple concussions (Danielson) and wanting to car for her husband and make some babies (Mrs Danielson), this past Monday saw the final two pieces of the "New Japan Pro Wrestling 4" finally debut for the WWE. AJ Styles debuted at the Royal Rumble in January. Shinsuke Nakamura debuted at NXT Takeover Dallas in April during WrestleMania week. and finally the two mainstays of the Bullet Club came to town with a bang.... Machine Gun Karl Anderson and Luke "Doc" Gallows appeared post match to attack The Usos before disappearing through the crowd. Monday & Thursday nights just went up a few notches with the appearance of the "Biz Cliz"

Yesterday (April 12th), Jonathan Recher, more commonly known as Balls Mahoney, passed away following a short illness which resulted from a bad fall he experienced a few days before his birthday which was on April 11th. Recher came to prominence in the wrestling world when he joined Paul Heyman's orginal and some say "THE REAL" Extreme Championship Legend. What Recher lacked in technical skill he made up for with a "hardcore" or "garbage wrestling" style which earned him the nickname "The Chair Swinging Freak". He debuted in 1987 at the tender age of 1987 and actually had a 1 year run in the WWF (now WWE) in the mid 90s before joinging Heyman's Hardcore Revolution in 1997. He was a big character in the industry and much loved as he did not court controversy like some have and do. Aside from one public stunt to create interest in an upcoming wrestling event in New Jersey late on in 2010 where he ended up getting charged with disorderly conduct (the Police did not know it was going to happen - epic fail!!), Recher was problem free and leaves behind a girlfriend and an 8 year old son. Time for Balls to swing his chair in Heaven to a chorus of angles shouting "Balls! Balls! Balls!" (If you are a wrestling fan you will know why)

Only Scrull and Cole are possibles at the moment. Ospreay is tied to NJPW for the next few years. Dalton Castle is tied to RoH until at least the end of 2017. Matt Cross is tied to Lucha Underground for up to the next 4 an a half years unless he has the clause in his contract allowing him to get out after Season 3 has aired. Bobby Roode will be interesting. Just because he showed up at TakeOver Dallas does not mean he will definitely go to NXT. Machine Gun Karl Anderson and Luke "Doc" Gallows were meant to debut alongside Finn Balor either in NXT or on the main roster. As was evident from Monday Night Raw, they debuted without Balor. If Roode does hti NXT, then I do not see him being down there that long.

Nakamura is already a household name in New Japan Pro Wrestling (bigger than Cena) and also in the UK and US Independent scene. The WWE will just make him reach other parts of the world. I see him out of NXT by the end of the year.

Just to kickstart the wrestlign section as I know there are a few wrestling fans on here. NXT has had some big name signings from Japan (Shinsuke Nakamura and Kana - now Asuka), the independents (Rich Swann, Tomasso Ciampo and Johnny Gargano) and TNA (Samoa Joe, Austin Aries and Bobby Roode) in the past year with most retaining their more well known names. Some great matches already in the book with Sami Zayn vs Shinsuke Nakamura at TakeOver Dallas being a true 5 Star match. NXT is also returning to the UK this Summer. It has come a long way from the FCW days.

Wishing everyone who attends this event a fun time. I have been to a few events over the years which were the last ones for the genre and even a company, and by far these were the best as saying goodbye is both sad and fun.
