Is it me or did this year's event seem to be one of the highest attended Collectormania's of recent times? Does anyone have any approx. crowd numbers for the two days?

I didn't see any fliers this time advertising for next years CM:MK. You normally find them on the photoshoot booking table. Any ideas why?

I think that the early bird tickets were a waste of time altogether now. I paid for two tickets for both days on the expectations of what showmasters had announced in previous posts.

Another one bites the dust! And the LFCC get even MORE!

Not everyone is going, wants to go or can even afford to go to LFCC. I'm going to this one, I like going and I can afford to go, like a lot of other people too, I just feel so let down by Showmasters on this occasion. I love this event. The first time I went was the last time CM:MK was held in the shopping centre. I'm not very active on the form only recently because I was so looking forward to this one being that the winter one had been cancelled and at that event I was going to be treated to as many autos and photoshoots as I wanted plus a stay at the Doubletree for my up-coming 50th birthday from my wife. The only thing still happening for me, so far, is a stay at the Doubletree. Sorry for any negative posts.

Hopefully some fantastic cosplayers to make up for the lack of fantastic guests.

More BIG names for London have been booked, NOTHING FOR CM:MK. Either get guests people would really like to meet or just cancel CM:MK 24 NOW!

Three new announcements eh! Compared to what LFCC are getting it must all be in the 'eye of the beholder'

I just think that CM22 was poor and now CM23 looks like going the same way. If it wasn't for the fact that my wife wants to meet a couple of guests it would be a waste of time going and that goes for the early bird tickets as well, what is the point of that except to make money, they're not needed because there's not enough big name media guests going.

LONDON! LONDON! LONDON! Another big name guest. I don't think that I'm the only one who thinks that CM:MK is getting pushed out of the 'family' of Showmaster conventions. I always thought that this was the 'sister' con., it seems to me that the sister is getting shafted this year in the terms of the number of media guests or is CM:MK becoming a sports con?

I saw a Carry On doc. recently and there are quite a few carry on actors out there. What are the chances of a 'Carry On con.? and if not why not see if some would be willing to go to CM:MK 23

Hi Q.S., yes it was a member of staff. I was quite shocked at the time when I saw the prices for a table photo, the ones I saw ranged from £5 to £15. and that on top of the auto price was too much to pay especially if your snap shoot came out all blurred.

It happened to me today, but a can't mention where, most of the guests were charging but you got the feeling they didn't like too and a couple told me not to bother paying the fee because they were happy to do it anyway.

I was told today that Showmasters are to start charging a fee to take a photo with a guest at their table? If true is it because the company is losing money because people aren't buying photo shoot tickets or its it a new cost from the guests agent?

Hi Jonathan, booked my room yesterday, first time at the Doubletree what should I expect? Normally stay at a Premier Inn.

:(No room's available at the Doubletree ( been on their web site ) . Wanted to stay there for the first time next year as 2015 will be my BIG 50! Does anyone know if that is how it will stay or will room's become available later.
