  1. So, I have (among others) the following for Saturday: James & Oliver Phelps, Batch 1, 9:20-9:35 Ian McDiarmid, Batch 1, 9:30-10:00 Derek Jacobi, Batch 2, 9:30-10:15 Christopher Lloyd, Batch 3, 9:30-10:30 Benedict Cumberbatch, Diamond Pass, 9:45-11:45 How on earth am I going to be able to attend all these? With Benedict, as I have a Diamond Pass, do I assume I can go to his session after the others and, assuming all the other Diamond Pass people have gone through, go straight to the front of the queue, or will I have to join the back of the queue?
  2. So can I be clear? You're saying I should just place another order which just contains the postage?
  3. I ordered my entry ticket but forgot to add the postage. I assume, therefore, that I can just pick up my ticket from the door on the day? Or do I have to place another order with just the postage? Thanks.
  4. I'll only be coming on the Saturday, so will probably have a go at dragging myself up at some unearthly hour of the morning to make the most of the early bird! Thanks for the advice.
  5. This will be my first time attending this event and I was wondering if all the guests will be available to sign autographs from 9:15am? It's a long journey for me to get to the venue, and I don't really want to have to get up at the crack of dawn, and also pay extra for the early bird tickets, if the guests I want to see aren't going to be around until nearer to the standard entry time. Also, is it a lot quieter during the early bird entry period and so worth the extra money? Thanks for any advice.
  6. I've never been to this show before, so was wondering which terminal I should get off the Piccadilly Line at. I see from the above link that there are free busses from both sets of terminals, but is one quicker/more reliable than the other? Thanks
  7. Agree with Goonie_Marky, Ariana Richards was my unexpected star of the show (although Dave Prowse came a close second being the perfect gentleman). Before the show, I was undecided about whether or not to see Ariana, but when I saw her sitting there waiting I thought 'why not'. She turned out to be a really lovely lady who seemed genuinely pleased to meet me. She told me she has been concentrating on her art work and, having looked at her web site, I've now discovered just how amazing an artist she is.
  8. Andrewrolar - hate to rub it in, but it is delicious, and the ginger marshmallow in particular was excellent! I think the problem with this show being quiet is that there are a lot of this kind of show around at the moment and so for a lot of people, they have to be picky as to which show to attend. I too felt sorry for a lot of the 'guests' who were just sitting there twiddling their thumbs when I was there. However, as a lot of them were from what I would call 'cult' shows as opposed to mainstream shows, I guess this is understandable. I did have a lovely chat, however, with Ariana Richards (Jurassic Park) who is now an artist and, having looked at her website, an excellent one at that!
  9. Danny - The camera wasn't "set up" i.e. on a tripod, but was being held by the photographer. The only time I saw her turn it to portrait was when Carrie was having a photo with a really tall person. As GMorris said, as a photographer (which I am), portrait normally looks a lot better. My wife made a comment about the photo. Because Carrie was hugging me and because you can't see most of her body, she said it looks like I'm holding Carrie up! Now if it had been taken as a portrait photo with more of our bodies showing, this would not have been the case. The backdrop was huge, so there would have been no problem with the borders.
  10. Agree it was nice and easy. Arrived at 9:15am and walked straight in. Got 3 autographs and then my photo with Carrie. Wandered around the stalls, had a Hot Dog (!) and left at 11:45am. Did seem to be getting busy as I was leaving. I do have one criticism of my photo with Carrie. I noticed that the photographer was taking most of the photos, including mine, in landscape. This meant that Carrie and I were squashed in the middle of the photo with a lot of empty space either side of us. Surely any photographer worth their salt would know that portrait photos would look better proportioned? For £65 I expected a lot better!
  11. Got my photoshoot ticket the other day - Number 23. Based on previous events, can anyone give me an idea as to when in the day this photoshoot is likely to take place? Also, how does it work? Do they call up blocks of numbers i.e. 1 - 50 ? Thanks.
  12. Thanks for the info about send in items. As I'm already having a photo shoot with her, it might be better for me to just send something for her to sign rather than queuing on the day
  13. Thanks. I've got an early bird ticket so will get there early and rush to her area to get my number (probably along with hundreds of others!)
  14. This is probably a silly question, but would I be correct in assuming that the photo shoot with Carrie does not give me her autograph, so I'd also need to queue up for an autograph separately?
