  1. Finally watched "The Gunfighters". It's nice to see a story where the Doctor and company have a crazy adventure in the past WITHOUT aliens.
  2. Think I'll be breaking my tradition of only going on Saturdays in order to get Peter Purves' autograph.
  3. @darthelvis Sorry but advertising for other events or businesses is not allowed at all on these forums. @ScottyShep11 Personally, I arrive at 8:30 and get a cup of tea beforehand but I know some people arrive at 8. Regarding photoshoots, I do believe the rules are one ticket per person but if you don't mind not getting a professional photo, some of the guests are happy for you to take a picture of yourself(and in this case, your son too) with them at the signing tables if you ask politely enough when you're buying an autograph.
  4. Finally got "The Sea Devils" today and just finished watching. Delgado is superb and while the Sea Devils' costume are a bit meh, it's a lot better than I remembered.
  5. Woohoo! STRAX! I'm delighted to hear this announcement, didn't realise he'd been in SJA though.
  6. Awesome! Don't know whether I'm more excited as a Star Wars fan or a James Bond fan.
  7. Oh yes! Steven is one of my favourite companions so I'm delighted to hear this.
  8. I think it would be brilliant if we could get Tom Baker to either CMK or CMG at some point in the future.
  9. Peter Cushing, William Hartnell, Jonathan Harris, DeForest Kelley, Patrick Troughton , Jon Pertwee, Guy Williams, Nicholas Courtney, Jacqueline Hill, Lis Sladen, Gene Roddenberry, Richard Hurndall, Dermot Morgan and above all, Patrick McGoohan.
  10. Benedict Cumberbatch Martin Freeman Rupert Graves Andrew Scott Russell Tovey Mark Gatiss
  11. Death in Heaven ...All I can say is that it didn't feel like a finale episode.
  12. Woohoo! We've got Lando! This will be a good way to start off my Star Wars autograph collection.
  13. Oh and if we can start getting writers in as guests, then I'd love to see: Terrance Dicks Andrew Cartmel Paul Cornell
  14. And the guest list has started with a awesome guest. Hoping for more Torchwood guests to be announced
  15. Nicola Bryant and Colin Baker Frazer Hines and Wendy Padbury Jeremy Bulloch and Dave Prowse
  16. Well there is one such con in Scotland...but the tickets cost £50 each.
  17. Only the dates for next year. They've been confirmed as Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of August.
  18. Yay another Doctor Who companion that I can add to my autograph collection. Now I just need Carole Ann Ford to be announced...*crosses fingers*
  19. This is a very nice surprise but I think I'll pass on getting her autograph this year as I've already got a lot of autographs to get.
  20. Yes, if you look at the picture on the LWFCC Website it is indeed Debbie Lee London from Claws of Axos
  21. Capaldi was superb as was all of the cast...but the story is of course a remix of the "Robot pretending to be a man" story that Moffat did before (Girl in the Fireplace) with some added dinosaur in London which is also recycled (Invasion of the Dinosaurs) and annoyingly, the story spends a good bit of time reminding us about that. Another reuse of the "You've redecorated" line which was unneeded, the larder fight was weak and then there's Matt's cameo...sorry but Clara has met older incarnations of the Doctor already so there shouldn't be any need for reassurance. Some of the dialogue was brilliant, Missy seems interesting, the Paternoster gang were actually bearable for me and the music score was wonderful.
