My first Destination Star Trek. Really looking forward to it. Hope everyone has an amazing time. Hopefully see some familiar faces from other conventions, Showmaster one's naturally :-)

Met her at LFCC. I'm All about giving people a second chance , especially due to the broken rib at the time. Should be a much better experience this time

Solo outing for me also. Doesn't bother me, pretty much everyone at conventions is easy to get on with so always plenty of people to talk to.

I think i've lost my mind. I've already looked at the Amsterdam, Berlin and Destination Star Trek con forums on multiple occasions today to see if there are any new guest announcements.

Hi, Had the pleasure of meeting Vic Armstrong yesterday. What a true gentleman. Very generous with his fans, and a true legend of cinema, a term overused, but not in this case. Was one of my highlights of the weekend. Would love to see him back at future events. Great work Showmasters.

My legs are like lead, and my wallet is bruised, battered and scarred . Had a great time though

Not long come out of the photo shoot myself. Much like a lot of others on here, I'm regretting spending the money. It was literally like having a photograph with a robot. Every other guest has been faultless this weekend. I can appreciate if she's gotten a broken rib, but not even acknowledging people is out of order. If she wasn't up to the "job" then she shouldn't have taken the gig. If she was that uncomfortable then she should have cancelled. I'm assuming film productions wouldn't expect her to act in this manner, and at the end of the day, this is simply another gig, and so should have been dealt with in the same manner. Massively disappointing

Hi, Might not be worth giving out a gold pass goody bag next year. All's mine contained was out of date promotional material. Don't see the point of it personally . Other than that, great event so far

Will the guest be doing photos as well as autographs ?

Hi, Are there likely to be any issues on the Saturday with entry times and clashes with the first photo shoots of the day? i.e if my partner turns up at 7am to start queuing is there a chance that she could potentially miss her photoshoot of the day or is this taken into account with the scheduling? I always use a Gold Pass for the summer events, so havent paid particular notice to this in the past. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Unfortunate but these things happen, would expect more to occur before the event as well. Hopefully some more announcements coming up before or during the event 😀
