Raab has just said 4th July at the earliest for pubs, restaurants etc. So looks no way the event can still happen, although most of us realised this a while back now. I'm assuming we're just waiting for the insurance rules to kick in before Showmasters announce its canceled. Such a shame, Jason and team had assembled such a strong lineup this year as well .

I'm expecting LFCC to be postponed by a couple of months. Even if it were to go ahead now at its original date, I'm guessing guests might be anxious about it etc. Shame, the lineup was turning out to be a classic, but just one of those things.

Yeah, his talk was great, although quite odd when the young boy was asking him questions about AWIL. No way I'd let my kid watch it.

Hi, Just a heads up for those of you who may be coming from further afield via Heathrow for the event . My understanding is that there is the risk of potential strike action at Heathrow during LFCC, so there's a chance this could impact some travel plans. This all makes sense and is completely reasonable. In the future maybe Showmasters should have a facility to resell tickets. Stuff happens were people genuinely can no longer attend events, and would open the tickets up to other fans on days that sell out etc

Assuming a big Star Wars guest due to all of the Star Wars announcements over the last few days. I'm wondering whether it could be Pedro Pascal? Would also satisfy the Game Of Thrones fans. Annoyingly I'll be in the air when the announcement is made

Completely agree. This could backfire massively. It would appear lessons haven't been learned from previous years

So we've only 5 weeks or so to the show. If these guests are going to happen, then hopefully we'll see the first one imminentley . If none of these legendary guests materialise, then this announcement from Jason is going to backfire spectacularly, and none of us want that to happen.

Im just mindful that none of the guests are signed and sealed yet, so lets not try and get too excited until they're announced ?

But don't rely on it to keep your picture safe, use a hard case etc
