  1. I think the wife would insist on going to this one. Hope you get the two leads.
  2. Disappointing he has cencelled. Maybe next time.
  3. Anthony Head, TJ Thyne and a second shoot with Lena.
  4. Just thinking the same thing. Wow on the number of photoshoots. Congrats.
  5. Photoshoots were an absolutely dream. Brilliantly organised. Next time I think I will try and be a little less ridgid and more playful with guests after seeing some great pictures on here.
  6. I had some pretty good photos chosen for the people I planned on getting sigs from but on a couple of occassions I got sigs from others there using their stock photos. I guess I will be more prepared on that front. Certainly food is an issue there and bring your own water. The money saved would nearly cover another photoshoot.
  7. Haha I remember you having a conversation with a young guy about Transformers and Michael Bay.
  8. Haley Atwell would be nice since she is appearing in the upcoming Agent Carter. Of course Lena again.
  9. Lena Headey: Fantastic lady and probably the most geeky of the guests in photoshoots. Got a couple of pictures signed which she personalised and had a small chat about hats. Love this woman. Summer Glau: Another fantastic lady who really is more beautiful in person. Fantastic photoshoot and brilliant signing. She was very impressed with photo I had her sign. Stan Lee: The reason I travelled was fine. The man is getting on and I was just glad to get the signature on Friday and Photoshoot on Saturday. Bit impersonal in comparison to the others. Sibel Kekilli: Replacement guest for Natalie Dormer was beautiful and charming. Amazed at the lack of queues for her signature. As well as the photoshoot also got a photo at her table. Even practised alittle German. Terry Farrell: Stunning woman and very down to earth. An Amazon. Got to have a great chat with her at the signature table where ws discussed the picture I had her sign. It was a photoshoped picture I had bought at the event. She loved it. Helen Slatter: Very nice also and signed and posed for a picture at her table. Paul Freeman: A complete gent who signed and posed for a picture at his table. Carrie Fisher: Just a signature (unpersonalised) but the signature was perfect and exactly where I had asked for it on the print. She had her dog on the chair beside her which was hilarious. Did not have a negative encounter with any of the guests.
  10. Thanks :) I didn't mind the dog being in the photo, and i think that's why I had a second photo taken as the photorapher must have forgotten to include the dog in the first shot, because the first shot (just me and Carrie) seems fine to me! Did you get both pictures for the price of one as a result of the mix up? Result if the case.
  11. Some from the GoT Talks and Screening.
  12. Oh the Friday signing from Stan took alot of pressure off me and made the whole event much more managable.
  13. The only suggestion I can think of is to not do what San Diego Comic Con does and give those who attended the previous year first preference. This has totally destroyed any chance of first timers attending. For me personally I thought the event went very smoothly. Oh the a better selection food vendors would be welcome.
  14. I've no interest in stickers as I have no interest in selling my signed piece.
  15. Looking at the website they seem to be up on the site permanently? http://showmasters.photoshelter.com/
  16. Is there a thread on the Showmasters Photoshoot Library? What do they charge for the digital prints?
  17. Sound like that might have been Julie Caitlin Brown.. Was this her? She played Na'Toth in Babylon 5 but manages a lot of guests. She's amazingly friendly when you meet her for a signing, but very scary when managing. That said all the queues near her were very tidy! And as I've said elsewhere Lena was awesome :) I was wondering who that lady was. There seemed to be a couple of reps with Summer Glau too.
  18. The early Friday signing was a godsend. Thankfully got my signature on that day.
  19. This was my first time to LFCC. I've been to the Excel and Collectormania and San Diego but I have to say I really enjoyed this one the most. I appreciate that the queues in the morning were crazy but once they got moving you were inside pretty quickly. The only really bad queue inside was for Summer Glau but the wait was worth it. Got very positive response to the picture I got her to sign including one of her reps. Sunday could not have run more smoothly. Got in early got my virtual ticket for Carrie Fisher so signature sorted. While queueing for Terry Farrell signature we were advised to come back in 15 minutes. So we went off for a coffee and came back. Straight up to her table with no one in front. Had a good 8-10min chat with her.
