Is that just the automatic refunds for cancellations, etc. or does that include for those of us with photo ops but no entry tickets who didn't get in? I have no idea exactly how they do them, but I haven't given a reference number or anything yet. Just so I know! this is for the cancelled guest refunds. I don't know anything more about the others than what was posted here. as Jason has said another statement was coming this will probably be addressed then. Cheers, just wanted to check! I'll keep an eye out then.

This is definitely appreciated by those of us who were stuck outside! Is there anything we should do? I assume the ticket number would be needed but am loathe to email again (I did firstly on the 14th asking) since there's so many emails to go through! seeing you already have emailed all you can do at the moment is be patient a little longer please. Oh I understand that, it was more me wondering if emailing them the details they need, rather than just an email asking what they need (as I did), might help them with the process. Like I said though, I don't want to contribute further to an overflowing mailbox...!

I think it was up to 11 pages at the point it got deleted. You can still find the original post (though not the comments obviously) on Showmasters' Facebook page.

If nothing else, would it be possible to have a (locked if necessary) repost of the original post? As it was done from the Showmasters account, I think it essentially counts as the first official comment on the event, so it would be nice to still be able to see it.

Well I can tell you why I didn't - our society has a deal with Showmasters whereby they provide us with a letter that gets us a discount on entry, that can only be done on the door, not online. By the time we realised that they weren't going to send it this year (we had received no response to our enquiries) it was too late to buy online. Thus my photo op with Carrie Fisher that I had pre-paid for came and went whilst I was still in the queue outside. Thanks, that's a slightly different case though compared to the majority of people that attend as you may well have had a different expectation to the majority of people that attend due to what had happened previously with your society. Different case indeed, but it does go to show that there may be valid reasons for some people. Not necessarily all I grant you, but just wanted to state why that was the case for myself at least.

Also curious, where has the thread titled "some facts not fiction or drama" (originally posted by the Showmasters account) gone? Am I just missing it? I thought it was on the first page still.
