I am one of those people who did not have a problem at all on the Saturday. I expected the venue to be busy and had prepaid early bird entry. I got there about 8.15 and was in for about 9.30. I had four photoshoots for the day and even fitted in the Sherlock talk (Even happier that I got the Moffs autograph). Here's what I noticed however. The event was very very popular. Even when the hall was heaving there was an amazing queue of people still trying to get in. Is it time to make this event an all ticket ala San Diego.? Dealer stalls at the front of the venue stopped the flow of people getting in. Once you had cleared the stalls it was much more bearable. There was a bottle neck around where Kenny Baker was signing. No idea why. Why don't you have white boards showing what numbers you are up to on photoshoots. The idea of calling out a group of numbers just calls for a crowd of people to be huddled in one place and puts an amazing stress on the SM crew members. The hall was hot but the air con at the back was working so if you need a cool down stand in the line of one of the jets from the air conditioning units on the ceiling. Re-entry stamps lasted for about 15 mins before coming off. Perhaps a paper bracelet or something ? Personally the photo shoots and autographs went fine I feel but the entry into the venue was definitely an issue. It is good to see it so popular but an all ticket event will make the event much easier to manage and also give much more advance revenue to the organisers. Having tickets on the door opens the event up to issues like we saw yesterday.

I can't see an option for Early Bird Child entry for Saturday. Would I have to pay adult price for my 5 year old?
