  1. Make this so! As long as the main cast could be there for signings/photos then the rest would fall into place :)
  2. I don't have a budget as such, it's more of a 'if there's an autograph I want, I'll have to pay it cos there may not be a next time'. I was given £70 for my birthday to get Ian McDiarmid's auto as he was the biggest guest at the time, so that's helped a bit and a couple of cancellations. My overall expenditure on autos this year is about £200 I think, although I could have miscalculated. I have one photoshoot which is already booked so I'm good to go. Unless there's another guest that's going to be sneaked in...
  3. If you love GoT then definitely go for them, with Stan, I'd say if you're into the comics or appreciate what he's done then go for him, but personally I wouldn't meet a guest just because it's their last appearance.
  4. I have 7 tattoos in all, (4 music related: Metallica, HIM, Godsmack and Shinedown), a star on the back of my neck, and on my forearms I have the Star Wars Empire logo on one arm and the Rebel logo on the other.
  5. For £10, I think I can make room in the budget to meet her, in amongst the other Star Wars guests :)
  6. Ask him if he's cool with recording your voicemail message too while you're at it
  7. Some guests allow photos over the table, but that's all dependant on the guest and their agents/contract for attending the event. Maybe the lower priced guests, but not someone like Stan I imagine!
  8. Hi guys, I'm fairly new to writing on the forum, as they say 'long time reader, first time writer'. I'm attending LFCC over both the Saturday and Sunday and I have 3 Original Trilogy metal posters, one for each film. I intend on getting signatures on them from most of the main characters of which are attending and I want to get the signature on the poster in which the character had the biggest/best part or most impact. So, I hope you can help me make up my mind. Which films do you associate the character to? Darth Vader R2-D2 Chewbacca Boba Fett The Emperor Princess Leia Lando
  9. Stan Lee on the Saturday #69. That's right. 69.
  10. Question, which poster do you have that you want to have signed? I've got A New Hope, Empire and Jedi individual posters and going to get signatures from actors on whichever one they had a bigger part in (EG The Emperor in Jedi, as opposed to getting him on the ESB poster.)I've got a limited edition triptych poster of the OT posters. This one, I got it from forbidden planet last year after my birthday http://www.drewstruzan.com/illustrated/portfolio/?fa=medium&gid=1182&pri&gallerystart=1&pagestart=1&type=pri&gs=1 That looks cool. I have these (one of each film) and looking to get signatures on them whichever film the character had a bigger part/impact in. http://displate.com/displate/23805/minimal-minimalism-minimalist-movie-poster-film-artwork-cinema-alternative-chungkong-graphic-design
  11. Shame. But plenty more going on over the weekend, maybe he can come back at the winter event?

  13. To be honest though, it's always going to be difficult to say what you do and don't want in future events. It's the time of year where TV shows will start filming for their next seasons (I believe Arrow will start filming around the same time as the Con) and a lot of the following years big films (with more than likely the more popular guests) are still filming too. So it's between 'do you want X actor' or 'do you want X actors next project to come out'. I think it's safe to say that the majority of current superhero film franchise actors won't be available for the next few years at least, I think we got lucky with Star Wars filming at Pinewood studios so Carrie Fisher could come down for the weekend. Personally I'd like to see maybe someone like Michael J Fox, Christopher Llyod, Ron Perlman, Harry Potter actors (main ones) or someone from the classic gangster films like Joe Pesci, Ray Liotta etc. I can dream but the ultimates would be Al Pacino or Harrison Ford.
  14. I went to Star Wars Celebration Europe last year but didn't meet Carried, will have to this year!
  15. Same here, can't find where the rumour/information has come from.
  16. Ahh dang it! (If he is cancelling) had my Phantom Menace metal poster for him to sign! If not this time, then hopefully another time, I've got plenty other guests to meet this time around :)
  17. Got a Spider-Man metal poster for him to sign :)
  18. Are we under the impression that OP and BB will be parked similarly to Ecto-1 from last year?
  19. And I was worried about fitting in 9 autographs, 1 guest photoshoot and 2 prop photos into (what is now) 2 days!
  20. I have a Spider-Man metal poster for Stan to sign and a few others for the Star Wars guests to lug around. Don't think I've met a guest with a huge queue like I expect Stan Lee to have so will be new to me. Should be fine though
  21. 3 weeks to go, very exciting :) Turns out I'm now going on both Saturday and Sunday so maybe I won't have to rush around on Saturday getting autographs and the prop photo shoots. Just hope there won't be any further cancellations, gutted about Sean Maher
