So if they have asked us to email them to request a day change, responding to the email sent, but wont get back to us til next week because of CM24... how will they know not to process the refund after 3pm today? Not trying to be argumentative QS; genuinely curious :)

Yep hopefully we can put more traffic through here in the lead up to the event. I'll be posting the winners of the quiz topic poll shortly, and then doing a QOTD on all the other topics mentioned all the way up to the event. The person with the most, first correct answers can have a drink on me at the meet up. So pays to be quick! I won't post at the same time every day either just to keep y'all on your toes! remember to cast your votes if you haven't already in the FB group, or here if you haven't joined that yet; simply tell me what topics you'd like in the quiz this year and the top two will be chosen :) simples! Also keep adding yourselves to the list of attendees by copying and pasting from the previous comments, and don't forget to invite all your friends! love much Pen x

Thursday night will be fabulous for all, and the Saturday is the increasingly popular Annual Forum Meet Up and Great LFCC Geek Off. We want as many people as possible to come along and enjoy a raucous shindig so have a look at the thread for that. King of the Geeks... shucks... I just come along for the burger

Howdy geeklings! Just been to the Crown. Everything is set! They are happy to have us and have reserved the front part of the bar, but are aware that we will probably fill the whole joint! They're changing the menu so it won't be the same as last year, but do not fear! The burger will not be disappearing! In fact they are going to look at creating a special LFCC burger at a special convention price for us, as well as some drinks offers so stay tuned! (Don't worry Aleksandra, there'll be a veggie option 😉) They are also letting us use their AV system so we will have even bigger and better intros and picture rounds! They have changed their decor and the place looks fab so the evening should be awesome! I'll post more updates as they happen but they are super excited to have us there. Also, for anyone still looking for a hotel, remember the pub does have guest rooms. Perfect for those not wanting to stumble too far! Let the countdown commence!! Stay Geeky! Pen x

I am incredibly pleased to announce that for the third year in a row we will be running the Forum Meet Up alongside another edition of The Great LFCC Geek Off! I have been massively proud to have been involved in putting this event together for the last two years, and following a chat with the manager, I am happy to say that The Crown and Sceptre will be hosting us once again.
