  1. Did anyone else have what I have dubbed Small World Syndrome at the con? By this I mean, despite the crowds seeing the same 4 people around the building all the time. Case in point, in the queue for Sean Biggerstaff on Sat I was two people behind a girl I was in the queue for Alan Tudyk's picture for on Friday and in front of a couple we were chatting to in the DP collection queue on Thursday. Which is just one time I just kept bumping into people from previous queues! Anyone else have this happen? (* Disclaimer - it doesn't count if you keep seeing people you came with! )
  2. Got him at a previous SM event so just went for a picture this weekend. Even then he made me feel welcomed and took his time to speak and it's a lovely photo. Absolute gem of a guy.
  3. On the arrow on your picture click share links and copy the BBCode option, should post fine then
  4. I arrived to the GA queue about 8:55am Saturday and the holding area wasn't full, so I would say it was unlikely they let them in early because of that (there was a whole line of queuing space left when I joined)
  5. I'm sure it says somewhere in the description that activities for the DP can be any day - all you are saying when you pick one is what day you want your photo-op on. The rest (auto and talk) can be any of the days. (Had to beg a day off work for the Alan Tudyk talk)
  6. More than I should have, but less than I could have. And less than I have in the past! Currently deciding against actually counting it up!
  7. All the crew I interacted with in any way were awesome, but special shout out to the girl who was running Dean Cain's VQ on Friday, clearly having a nightmare with queue length but fitting people in as and when she could, I commented to her that his VQ had gone up from when I was last there and she sighed "I was hopeful...", he was going a *bit* slow at that point! Also the guy who was on Photo B Friday afternoon was doing a sterling job being in control of the situations but still keeping it fun - must have been having a nightmare with Pamela's shoot running long and all of us lurking for Dean but didn't let it show.
  8. Nicely timed Arti raid yesterday just as I was planning on heading outside to get some air and lunch! If and of y'all helped take him down thanks (didn't catch after, but another win in the books for the raid medal)
  9. I still can't get over how that managed to happen in what must have been the only open floor space in the entire venue. I was just passing through at the time and am still shocked that no one got hit or soaked. There was crew on the scene almost immediately (I was heading towards one to tell them what happened when I saw them beckon another one over who came and took over the situation.)
  10. I went out that way and no one checked if I had a pass or not (around 5:30pm tonight)
  11. I had the same with exiting, a door we went out of yesterday was manned by security and not in use. By that point I was exhausted and just wanted to go home, trying to find a way out that was in use was more than my brain could deal with - especially in that rabbit warren of halls that all look the same!
  12. Nothing was checked off and my pass wasn't punched when I collected my print this afternoon. Kind of want to punch my pass in the third spot just so it's symmetrical... (I realise that is a *me* problem not an organisational problem!)
  13. It is possible I am more smitten than I was as a teenager watching New Adventures. Which is saying A LOT. A LOT A LOT.
  14. I was at John Rhys-Davies shoot before it started. We were called forward as a lump not in batches. (My ticket was B3, so I was expecting to have to wait a little while, but had no where else to be at that point in time) This was at Photo D this morning (10:20 ish shoot I think... feels like DAYS ago)
  15. Bit of a queue to get the Diamonds at 7pm yesterday but went smoothly and was very grateful to have one less thing to worry about today!
  16. Also want to add the new (or new to me) entry procedure was ace - having everything scanned and done before joining the "queue" proper meant we got in mega quick after doors opened. Got to venue around 8:30, in and sat with coffee by 9:10 after grabbing VQ tickets!
  17. Do you need your ticket again when you collect diamond pass prints or will the diamond pass itself do for that?
  18. Haven't been to LFCC since 2015 so was very pleased with the amount it had all spread out (though still no "you are here" stickers on the map - I did mention it to one of the pit bosses who wrote it down as a suggestion though). Got the auto's I was after and photo's went wonderfully smoothly, both area A and B were very well managed I thought and it was clear who was being called forward to queue at each time.
  19. I would assume so yes. Thanks for the clarifications, first time I've had a 'special' pass!
  20. I work in the town centre, so thought 'great, there will be loads of raids when I finish work'... Nope. None. 9 gyms I can think of in the vicinity and nothing of interest was going on.
  21. I have NO photo ID. None whatsoever. No Passport, no Driving License. Nothing. Am I not going to be able to get my pass then? (Mum paid for ticket, on her card, for me)
  22. I'll admit confusion. My mum bought me a Diamond Pass, my name is on it. Whose ID do I need (in fairness we should both be there Thursday for collection), is it a problem we don't have photo ID? (Apart from Mum's bus pass!)
  23. Thanks to a local FB group was part of an 18 strong raid to take down an Articuno. Annnnnnnd I caught it at the end of it all! Super chuffed and kind of like my seen 1 caught 1! (one of the ones there was a mum and son, son did the fighting and catching and was dancing around because he caught it! Their first raid and they caught a legendary!)
