  1. Angel Coulby, Bradley James, Rupert Young, Asa Butterfield, Alex Vlahos, Tom Hopper, Katie McGrath, Adetomiwa Edun.

Also I'm still living for the Robin Hood days (BBCs version) so Jonas Armstrong, Joe Armstrong, Richard Armitage, Keith Allen, Sam Troughton, Lucy Griffiths....

ETA: Also cats.  Any cats. I like cats.

  2. I have about 20 now.  I take them out of the boxes (but keep the boxes and packaging) and display them on my book shelves.  Most of them are book related charactes, so they sit with or near the books.  Those that are TV show/Movie related are sort of grouped together with any random stuff on my shelves.

  3. I didn't find out the talks were to be ticketed and charged for until a couple of days ago. By the time I did, the James Marsters talk was sold out. I'm gutted. He's the main reason I'm attending.

I was just telling someone last week that the great thing about Glasgow was that all the talks were free. So much for that idea.

it's not showing as sold out for me? at least it's allowing me to add one to my basket on the ticket page...

  4. Woohoo, so having missed last year because it clashed with a race at knockhill (also there wasn't any guests I was interested in meeting), i've just booked for the Saturday of this year!.

Would have booked the full weekend and got a photo op with John Challis as well, but there's another race I want to go to that weekend and for the sake of that one photo op it didn't seem worth it.

Excited though, i had so much fun in 2014.

  5. waaah. just booked myself BTCC tickets before checking the date and it clashes with collectormania.

luckily hadn't booked anything for this yet, so i guess possibly i'll just end up meeting a load of lovely drivers instead of meeting lovely actors and spending £198475039857603 on merchandise :P

  6. they already have the date, they posted a picture of the poster or something during this years event on twitter.

presumably it's just taking a while to get the forum ready. i guess they're possibly still busy with the aftermath of glasgow and sheffield, since they were pretty close together.

  7. To me joe flanigan is a huge guest most people go who, I've worked with guests I've never heard of and had an amazing time.

another good point at the end. i went to a few talks over the weekend for people i didn't really know or hadn't heard of before and really enjoyed their talks. and from that i'm probably more likely to go and check their stuff out.

i've only been to a few cons so far but every one i've been to i've come away from having found a new actor that really impressed me in their talks.

  8. i think the fact of the matter is, no matter WHO comes to these events there's always gonna be someone who doesn't think there is anyone 'massive' there. for instance i have no idea who the two guys you keep saying were massive last year are. yet i knew loads of people going this year and considered them to be high up on my list of people i wanted to meet.

i think the guests this year were fairly diverse, yet at the same time linked together well for talks and things. i suppose you have to get a few people from each 'genre' or show to make the talks worth while, otherwise there would need to be hundred of talks with individual people to get through everybody.

  9. yea, even hiring a mini bus for a few of us if someone is licensed to drive one? (or do you not need a license, might just have been at uni you had to do a test to hire one?) would depend if everyone wanted to stay both days or not though, as that could cause problems...

I know this has been discussed loads before and valid reasons noted, but I just can't help wishing that CM Glasgow was held more than just once a year -_-

me too. Winter CMG please, showmasters. :D

A winter one was done at the very start of these events in Glasgow some five years ago sadly it was not a success, it didn't help that it was right at the start of the financial crisis admittedly

    aww that's a shame.

i'm considerig going down to newcastle in march at the minute, but i think i'll wait until nearer the time to decide fully.
