  1. It's not Very nice being told my opinion is 'useless', or to stop discussing, even though I'm being respectful - But if that makes you feel better
  2. forum A meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged. Public medium or place used for debates in which anyone can participate.
  3. Totally agree that its unlikely that LFCC will re-arrange now Wrong Name. However I don't think that the day or time has no bearing on their stature as a guest - eg how would people respond to other guests like David Duchovny, Christopher Eccleston or Jason Mamoa only doing talks on Friday?? - Non of which have ever been nominated for an Oscar (which James Caan has). I'm just very surprised that he hasn't been given a bit more TLC
  4. I realise a lot of work has gone into scheduling stuff, but just wanted to highlight a couple free panels on Saturday and Sunday 3 wrestling panels (including one with Jim Ross) 2 Panels with John Schneider (one with Dukes of Hazzard and one with himself alone) Just thinking about balance, fairness and variety - could LFCC not fit-in a panel with James Caan on Sat or Sun instead of replicating panels with the above??
  5. James Caan's career is long and varied. He has starred in Sci Fi movies (Rollerball, Alien Nation), Comic Book (Dick Tracy), Horror (Misery), Animation (Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs). He also stars in one of the best Christmas Movies ever (Elf). He's also appeared in several TV shows and even lent his voice to Video Games. So he pretty much fills all the criteria for LFCC.
  6. The Free and Paid talks are split in even numbers across the weekend (13 each over Sat and Sun). Realise a lot of time and effort goes into scheduling to accommodate everyone and everyone involved does an amazing job! However James Caan starred in a movie that is widely considered to be The Greatest Film of all time (no small feet) - so as such I think he should have got a better time-slot
  7. Notice that James Caan is scheduled for a talk on Friday. Just seems like a bad day to position someone who is a genuine Hollywood Legend - The Godfather is constantly being voted at the top (or near the top) of Greatest Movie Polls. So wouldn't it be more appropriate to re-schedule someone of his status to a prime-time Saturday or Sunday slot? I notice that numerous Galactica stars have dropped out, so I'm guessing this talk will be cancelled. Could Caan fit into this time-slot instead? Just a thought

  15. I was under the impression that even dealers/crew can't take virtual tickets until the doors open, that was certainly the case at n event I was at a while back but this was not the case this time, I was there at 9am on the dot and I got 142 No one got any tickets before the doors open. I was in that area and saw it happen. The first Gold Pass holder arrived at around 8.47 AM and was asked to wait. The line really got long fast. One girl I happen to know came in pretty much after him, stopped to say three words to me and ended up with a number over 50. Did Gold passes get earlier entry?
  16. I was ticket 127 and they only went up to 130 on Saturday, I nelieve they only did up to 300ish on Sunday Great that you managed to get an autograph. What time did you actually get to the Sigourney booth?
