  1. I asked before but it wasn't answered.is it likely that the Aliens cast talk and the MJF talk on the saturday will be kept apart? thanks.
  2. Is there any chance sm could confirm that the Aliens and MJF talks on the saturday will not clash before i book?, thanks.
  3. My sister is abit gutted, she likes him in of all things Jumpin Jack Flash with Whoopi Goldberg but its abit rich for her. You would have had her at £25.
  4. i know alot of people who have no photoshoots to do or autographs to get this year so 3 days is more than enough for most people. Its not really about how much each visitor is getting though is it? more about getting everyone who wants to attend into the show. There will be people who would pay an entrance fee for just 1 guest or none at all not to mention impulse decisions. They turned people away last year and are having to limit ticket sales this year because of the size of the venue. If sm was my company then that lost revenue would a be very high priority to address. The show getting bigger is better for us all in the long run, better guests, better variety etc. There will always be people who would just turn up on the day rather than pre -book tickets its just the way people are, they will see an advert and on the spur of the moment will want to attend.
  5. I think this is the way it will go and the way it should. The growth of lfcc seems to be exponential( it might be spelt that way, who knows?) Take Michael J Fox, every single convention in the world would love him as their headliner but SM got him. As a statement to their competeters, customers etc thats huge. I imagine limiting ticket sales this year is nessecary because the size of the venue and previous years but it is still lost revenue so maybe 4 days is the way to go or obviously a bigger venue. I've said it before and i'll say it again i really think lfcc could rival sdcc in years to come, its still relativly a young show and you see with diamond guests this year its growing bigger still. This is just my thoughts and could be way of the mark but they probably could have sold twice the amount of tickets last year ( for every one person who waited in that queue last year there was probably 2 who thought "sod that, i'm going pub instead) Any business who in the future doesn't try and get that lost revenue would be foolish.
  6. By far my favorite line up since i've been attending the lfcc, such a good mix of genres with plenty of horror. Still wouldn't mind a few more as always though. Maybe a big Star Trek guest to replace Johnathan Frakes or Heather Langenkamp. Great stuff already showmasters, not sure they will ever be able to top Michael J Fox.
  7. " The bottom of my wallet is emptier Louis" Great guest, will get my Pet Sematary quad signed.
  8. I got a big TWD spoiler just watching an episode of the big bang theory.
  9. Its the same generic stuff thats infecting all tv at the moment, killing off popular and/or good characters for shock value while baddies keep twirling their moustaches ad infinitum. Lazy writing.
  10. Absolutley gutted. R.I.P. legend. Least he had a good innings.
  11. Why do you always have to throw in the putdowns? as a mod on this forum you should behave better to customers of showmasters. People were waiting in blistering heat for over 6 hours and people expect a minute to at least say hi to a guest before being moved on so more "customers" can be got through. You are the only mod on this forum who can sometimes talk like this to people.
  12. If the amount of tickets is capped will it be quieter than previous years on the saturday for early birds? what if by about 2pm on the saturday if half the people have left will there be less atmosphere? would showmasters let people in on the day then? i know something had to be done after last year but big bustling crowds really add to the day too.
  13. Not much for me, a few tv shows here and there, saw Ray "bet in play nawwwwww" Winstone once. Remember walking through Manchester city centre and all the sets we're up for Captain America, didn't see Hayley Atwell though
  14. Just heard this myself, so sad. She was great in Romancing The Stone and The Monster Squad as well as many other 80s movies. She was also in my favourite Tales from the Crypt episode " and all through the house. R.I.P.
  15. You could get the tube to Hammersmith, from there its pretty much a straight 10/15 walk up hammersmth rd to olympia or get a bus along the same route.
  16. I'm hoping so too. This really would be the best year with so many Nightmare guests. Fingers crossed.
  17. I thought it was excellent, better than Earl's Court and Olympia. Great air-con and its huge. SM only took up half of one part of it and that was still big. A 10/10 for me.
  18. Alien Nation tv show cast Clayton Rohner William Katt Lee Majors Frank Ashmore David Naughton Billy Campbell Adrian Zmed Maxwell Caulfield Rex Smith Kay Lenz Michael Beck Daphne Zuniga Michael Pare Heather Langenkamp Markie Post John DeLemay Scott Bakula Ami Dolenz Amy Steel Tawny Kitaen Fright Night cast
  19. The actual time of your photos is probally 5/10 seconds but if the guest is a busy one then including queing it can be anything upto an hour, even more if you get there early.
  20. She's been in so many things i like but she will always be Eva from Friday the 13th part 8; Jason takes Manhattan for me. Brilliant guest SM, brilliant.
  21. haha "the professional brooder" he's actually very good in Continiuum. Great guest.
