  1. I've lost hope on the two mains being at the event with there filming commities. I also have a feeling they will pop up on the forum and give all the information, who what and where. But i feel they will give a month or twos notice. If so, i can't attend. Need to have a few months notice of where and when so i can arrange travel etc
  2. The fact that there has been no communication for over 4 months is riddiculas, a simple a apolagy with a reason why and a promise that there is more updates would be fine. But no, nothing at all...
  3. Oooo i hope he does personlise. If i go, i wamt it too say "To William "Great Scott!" Christopher Lloyd"
  4. I've lost hope now Almost a year since we found out about this...

  7. Might be going to this, depends though as it clashes with holiday, hopefully i'll work something round it and be abble to go. Anyway some guests i would like to meet (and i'm sure otherd would) Shailene Woodley (Divergent, The Fault in Our Stars) Theo James (Divergent) Kai Courtney (Divergent) Maggie Q (Divergent) And other Divergent guests Jenna Coleman Karen Gillan Catherine Tate Freema Agyman Matt Smith Peter Capaldi Comic guests Gerad Way And for BTTF Micheal J Fox Thomas F Wilson and others ^.^
  8. Hope everyone's family and friends aren't affected by the crash in George Square on Monday evening. Thoughts go out to the family's during this time of the year
  9. Thank you, I hope you and your family and friends have a safe and happy Christmas
  10. Benedict has so much things he is filming, a lot is Marvel, Martin is the same, and so is Andrew Scott with the new bond film. If the two main guys aren't there, then I doubt I'd go, I might depending on if it's near (which I very doubt, Scotland barley get any big conventions) but if it was in London and Benedict and/or Martin weren't there, I doubt I'd go. I understand so much happens behind the scenes with talking to agents about when/where etc, trying to work around filming schedules. But everyone in the show getting big roles and other stuff going on outside the event, I'm losing hope Really hope I'm wrong and something is annouced soon
  11. OH MY GOD I have almost met the whole Torchwood crew now! Gahhhh August 2015 is so far!
  12. First of all YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY for the new forum, Can't wait ^.^ Thought may as well make a "General Chat" thread for the whole year, also could someone move the Gust Suggestions thread over here please? Also first post ^.^
  13. Ahhhh, hope they get it out soon, i know it's a longgggg way to go but i'm excited for all the guest announcements, every year it gets bigger and better which means bigger guests :-D
  14. Just wondering, any news on next years event, like a new forum for it and that? Or are you all still discussing when and etc.
  15. Any chance of a Doctor Who convention? Like the one last year at the ExCel, noticed you have ran a few Who events (Bad Wolf, Dimensions, Who Wars etc) Like maybe bring one back up like Who Wars or make a new one, a Doctor Who convention would be good while the show is out there because of the new Series and new Doctor. And the whole "in Scotland" would be great cause all the Doctor Who conventions (all conventions really) get held in England. O:)
  16. So would i,they held it twice a year once in 2008 one in august and another one in december but i dont think then one in december did too well, but i agree mayby holding it in march and october would be good But that was in 2008. 6 years ago. A lot can happen in a year, let alone 6. During 2008 i started to watch The Sarah Jane adventures then onto Doctor Who. Last year i met David Tennant then realised all about conventions about meeting your TV legends etc. I think in 2008 (compared to now) Sci-Fi wasn't as popular as it is to now. I had never heard of conventions let alone Showmasters events. The reason i will be coming to every Collectormania Glasgow event is because of lot's of reasons It's well prepared, everyone knows where everything is (which was great considering i was new to this) Everything was spread out decently. It didn't take long to notice where everything is and the main one Its the only convention in ScotlandYes there may be a few small conventions but none as big as this with good guests and good comunication with the crew. There isn't any conventions in Scotland hence this is getting bigger and better every year. I don't think we can judge it by 2008. Again a lot can happen in 6 years. I think with the ammount of people at this years event, i think it's ready. I remember reading the reason we can't have the likes of John Barrowman and Karen Gillan is because the venue is to small. What if we had another event for the big big guests in a bigger arena? SECC? Doesn't neccarly need to be in Glasgow, Edinbrugh? I think there's lots of places it can be. I also think it's ready All it would need is a rare guest (By that i mean someone like Peter Davison, he rarely does conventions. He is goping to a convention in England next year, and because he is a rare guest i'm willing to travel down there because he rarely goes to conventions. All it would need is a big guest and advertismentm, but if the guest was that big, i think they would be advertisment. Sorry if this post seem's rushed, any typos or that. I probabley haven't made sense but i am in the school libaray and rushing this as fast as i could. I think two events could work. I totally agree with your post,i would love to have two events in scotland and as you and dodef said the second show could be a collectormania edinburgh,i think part of the reason it didnt work 6 years ago is the economy at the time plus glasgow had just started,i think since then the show has grown and has a massive fan base and last year showed if they have one or two big guests the crowds will come, have the one show in march/april and the other in september/october,i truly hope we will two shows a year again sometime it would be awesome Exactly, one or two big guests and everyone will be hearing about it. Scotland has so much potential, it's not like anyone has not heard of Scotland with the referendum coming up and half the actors on Doctor Who being Scottish I don't think so but i think he is a very good guest who i'd love to meet (maybe next year, you know before it's too late :) )
  17. Unfortunlley the legamd Joan Rivers has passed away aged 81.
  18. I agree, i think they should grab the oppuirtunity (because Scotland has potential) before someone else does

  20. I would love CM to be held twice a year. Obviously both events spread apart like March and October not November and January haha. But ah i cant wait this long. Hopefully in the future tgere will be two CMG because i would go to both
  21. Ahhh! I loved your outfit so much, honestly everytime i passed you i just smiled, it was so realistic and the K-9 bag topped it off! :-) How long did it take to make? Haha so did i. I passed you lots of times without noticing until i looked back at the photos and videos. I was hoping i'd see you and give a wave or a smile. But i never noticed you at all, but looking back you where sitting next to my dad at the Who talk on the Sunday and you passed me at the begging of Saturday (I saw your head pass by)
  22. Thought i'd start this thread up too, basically for the people who want to know who was who, like a cosplayer or someone who helped out. If a new forum gets made in the next few days or so, please feel free to carry this on to there. Who was the women in the Tardis cosplay with the K-9 bag? I loved it so much Who was on the 9A bus (going from the arena to the main centre) at 5ish on the Sunday, just saw a lot of friendly people in great cosplay outfits I was the boy in the blue Tardis top which said 'Bigger In The Inside' and on the Sunday i was wearing a red 'Thing 1' t-shirt :)
