Got a nice giclee print of this (about A3 size - if not a little larger). It's totally pristine now, but with the 3 GoT autos I'm getting at NFCC and the half-dozen or so at LFCC, I reckon it's gonna look nice. Only Iain Glen will be allowed to sign within the image of Dany and the dragons - the rest can sign the border in silver sharpie!!! : )

I'm gonna say it again, as I'm buzzing from having received all my tix for LFCC at the weekend - JOHN CARPENTER If SM can get him, I will know I can die a happy man...

Newcastle shop moving to new e-Ticketing system!
Rotor1999 replied to Too Tall's topic in Newcastle Film and Comic Con 2015
Just a quick follow-up to my last posts in this thread, after sending a quick email to shop@showmastersevents.com on Thursday, I received 2 of my 3 ticket orders from the 'old' shop yesterday, and the final order arrived today! Thanks SM!! -
I love the original 80's 'V' series, so: Marc Singer Jane Badler Faye Grant Michael Ironside Denise Galik Andrew Prine Diane Cary - to go with Robert Englund - would be perfect!

Newcastle shop moving to new e-Ticketing system!
Rotor1999 replied to Too Tall's topic in Newcastle Film and Comic Con 2015
I wouldn't worry too much - for now! I've placed orders nearing a total of £2K with Showmasters across 2x events (LFCC and NFCC) via 3x orders (7th Feb, 9th Feb and 16th Feb), and so far have received nothing in the post either! Would be better if the online account / order info gave confirmed dispatch dates, rather than just token placeholder info. -
I'd give one of my kidneys to meet John Carpenter. My ultimate hero from the world of movies. Pleeezz SM!

Wonder how much it would cost SM to get Patricia Arquette now! -
wow what stuff are you getting mate? Up to now, paid for 4x gold passes for all weekend, 4x freddy diamond passes, 4x charles dance photos, 2x christopher lloyd photos and about another 10-12 photoshoots for the the four of us that are attending (mainly GoT people so far). Loads more to book though! Plus £500 for 4x return flights to<>from Newcastle, and 2x nights in local hotel @ around £1k. he thank god I got a company bonus this year!!!

Bradley Cooper - is due to be in London at the time of LFCC performing in The Elephant Man in the West End. Would be nice to see if SM could persuade him to sign up, even if its just for one part day appearance.

It looks like tickets are all due to be shipped at the end of the month in which they are booked, according to the downloadable packing lists in your account on the website. Believe me, I am pleased about this as I've spent over £1500 with SM on LFCC stuff since the start of Feb and so far have received nothing!!

Olympia - confirmation of which hall?
Rotor1999 replied to Rotor1999's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
Thanks for clearing that up for me. -
The Olympia website states LFCC will be held in the National hall only - capacity 4000 people. If this is the case, does anyone else think that it will be undersized, given the nature of the attendance numbers for summer LFCC2014?

Getting Steelbooks & Blurays Signed
Rotor1999 replied to DullyEL's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
I was fortunate enough to be at NFCC2014 and had Carl Weathers and Ian Whyte sign some of my steelbooks in silver sharpie. Steels are gloss and matte finish and the sharpie ink dried straight away. You can buy steel book covers/sleeves on eBay. -

If SM employ the services of someone with basic knowledge of acoustics (and this being a performance arena, there should be people on hand) then there is no reason why the location they use last year wouldn't be fine for re-use this time around. Last year I was in the centre section of the Carl Weathers / Ian Whyte talk, and everything was okay. Later in the day, went to the Danny John Jules and Star Wars talks (didn't get the centre sections) and could barely hear a word that was being said. Due to being miffed about this, I had a good look at the PA speaker positioning, and they were only serving the centre section. One block either side, any you were out of luck. You would think SM, with their wealth of experience arranging this kind of event, would not fall foul of such rudimentary, schoolboy errors...
