  1. Will there be any sports guests this year or will it just be sportsmania?
  2. Yeah I have met him before but now I need him on all my Forest memorabilia.
  3. Martin O'Neill, Roy Keane and Trevor Francis.
  4. Frank Gray, Chris Woods, Paul Ince, Alan Shearer, Gary Lineker, Teddy Sheringham, Steve Stone, David Seaman, Gianfranco Zola, Dennis Bergkamp, Ruud Gullit, Marco Van Basten, Nigel Mansell, Bobby Charlton, Ray Wilson, Nobby Stiles, Roger Hunt, Peter Bonetti, Jim Montgomery, Kenny Samson, Glenn Hoddle, Terry Butcher, Chris Waddle, Viv Anderson, Neil Webb, Paul Parker, David Platt, Tony Dorigo.
  5. What's happening to Collectormania then as it sounds like the two main events will be London and Brighton
  6. Montage moments have advertised Bryan Robson as attending but I can't see him on the forum or website. Is he attending?
  7. I got Ripley on my Aliens poster and 10 x 8, I also got Zuul on my Ghostbusters poster, all were at the end of day on Saturday.
  8. She was awesome, very friendly and down to earth. I was particularly impressed with her smile and how it never went off her face. When she first started signing she was really slow because she was interacting with all the attendees which was annoying for me on a selfish aspect as I wanted to get in the queue and get my autographs but I did think how good it was for the people actually meeting her. When she came back late from her photoshoot at around 4.45pm I thought there is no way I am going to meet her but I think it might have been her agent, had a word with her to speed up and keep it short and the crew did a good job of managing everyone I actually got to get my autograph and she was that quick I actually went back in the queue and got another. This encounter could have been a lot different but when the moons are aligned it's perfect!
  9. Just after getting Bill Paxton's VQ ticket and wondering if I will get to meet him on Saturday as I had 495, I looked up and seen him walking towards me and he smiled at me first and I duly smiled back with a " are you alright mate" in my Nottinghamshire accent, he politely replied with a "not bad thank you!" in his unique tone. I thought to myself if I don't get to get his autograph at least I can say I have seen him and spoken to him, however brief. Later on in the day to my absolute astonishment I actually saw him again with Sigourney Weaver being escorted to the lifts and I got a couple of snaps of them together so again I thought if I don't meet either/both later I can say I've seen them. However it turns out I actually ended meeting them both for autographs and it just added to an already amazing day!
  10. Dorgris, if this was you, thank you so much for the ticket as without it I would never have met her on Saturday. It was totally random and a really nice gesture, if you are at a con the same as me in future I will be sure to repay you for that very nice gesture indeed. Thanks again!!
  11. I didn't actually get to do anything random but I was on the end of some incredibly generous act of kindness. I was in the David Bradley queue on Saturday and the person behind me tapped me on the shoulder and said "Do you want this vq ticket for Sigourney Weaver as I'm not meeting her" I looked at the ticket and the number was 127 and I already had 405! I snapped the man's hand of and thanked him so. I went down to Sigourney's area and although it was a slim chance I would be getting in as she was over running on a photoshoot and only doing 30 minutes more of signing, the crew eventually called up to 130 after a 45 minute wait, I got in the queue and thought this it, I'm in! We were then told by the pit boss that the last 14 people in the queue might not be getting in and I was 13th! The queue started to move quickly and I thought surely we can get in. After a few minutes the pitt boss was looking like she was going to say no more people but credit to her she had a quick look and seen three people left with me in the middle, she said come on thats it and be quick. I couldn't tell you how relieved and excited I was that I actually got in, but then I also got to meet Sigourney Weaver and may never have the opportuinity to meet her again, I even decided to get an extra 10 x 8 on top of getting my Ghostbusters and Aliens posters signed. She was great and looked quiet hot for a mature lady, she took her time with all the guests and she actually looked at the items and asked where we wanted them signing, and I was very suprised that she actually put her character names. For me it topped off an already great day, especially as I went with the conception that I might not actually get to meet her. If I ever see the chap who gave me the ticket I will definately be buying him some beers. Credit also needs to go to the pitt boss for being honest and then to actually taking a quick look at the queue before making her decision to stop letting people in. Big thanks to Sigourney Weaver for getting through the last of us and taking her time when signing and making her signature a once in a lifetime opportuinity for me. All that is left to do is for me to repay those acts of kindness as soon as possible and as it goes past it on.......
  12. I was ticket 127 and they only went up to 130 on Saturday, I nelieve they only did up to 300ish on Sunday
  13. I thought she was fine and she gave me a beaming smile when I thanked her for my autograph. If she started to feel ill then I can imagine her just going through the motions. Those that are slandering her because she was ill should really take a look at yourselves and give your heads a shake and I bet you wouldn't be any better in the same situation. Also just feel lucky that you actually got an auto or photo as many didn't! It always rings true to me as the saying goes and it will never change. "People are people!"
  14. Yes I had vq ticket 127 and they went up to 130 with no guarentee, luckily she went through around 60 folk in her last 30 minute slot and I got in.
  15. Get there as early as you can, ideally 7/7.30 if you can, speak to the crew if you do find yourself in trouble but you should be ok. On friday I was there at about 12.45 and we didn't get in until 1.45 ish and I had a gold pass. I dont even wanna imagine when the general crowd got in. I got there at 8am and was in for 9.30 if that helps.
