My partner and I choose the people we want to meet based on whether we think we would have an opportunity again. So, I'd say I'm quite picky. I'm more interested in the autograph side of things. I always allow more money for autographs and a little bit of cash for shopping whereas he'd rather have more money for shopping! I have had a few photoshoots but I only have them if they are something really special like the TARDIS shoot at Newcastle.

My partner also has J.R.R Tolkien's symbol! He wants something written in Tengwar Elvish next.

I have two geeky ones This one I intend to make into a LOTR/Hobbit sleeve one day. I always said to myself that I didn't want a face tattooed onto me and then I did so I kind of regret it but once I've got more on it hopefully it's detract from Bilbo a little! It reminds me of an old illustrated drawing though so I do like it as well. I don't think it helps that I'm heavily overweight either haha.

I do like personalisations, I'm just a fan looking to meet and talk to the people I admire, I don't see them as an investment. Plus, my name is always a good conversation starter because it is so unusual, quite a few guests have commented on how 'beautiful' it is and asked where it's from. I have been to 2 cons so far so I might change my mind at some point I guess and get to the point where I do collect autographs as an investment rather than for personal pleasure.
