    i know what you mean i thought chucky looked diffrent too at the start until they removed the plastic covering his face and showed his true face,i think they shouldnt have left it too long to have chucky start his antics too they should have started it about a half hour into the movie but it was a real welcome move back to the old feel of the childs play movies :smile:

     

    Oh yeah once they removed the plastic from his face is when he looked like the original Chucky and I will say it was a welcome back to the feel of the original, yeah I think if they had started the Chucky antics earlier then the movie could have been much better, I am interested to see where they plan on taking the franchise after how Curse ended.

    Oh yes Tremors is excellent too :)

     

    Well I got round to watching Curse of Chucky last night and I have to say I was really disappointed with it, the 1st hour was so slow and boring that I was finding it hard to keep on watching it, however the last 30 mins is where the movie picks up with Chucky up to usual antics, and the scene after the credits was great, now the one thing I will say is that I wan't overly keen on how Chucky looked, I can't really say what it was but something about him just looked off, perhaps it was the CGI that ruined it, I dunno, overall I'd say give it a watch if your curious about it, if not then give it a miss.

    you will really enjoy it matthew and john,let me know what you think of it :smile: chris sarandon would be a cool guest,what did you guys think of pacific rim it was good monster movie with a great visual style and sfx but the story could have been a bit better

     

    I loved Pacific Rim, I do agree the story could have been a bit better, but everything else made up for that in my opinion, it's definitely one of my faves of 2013.

    What do you guys think of Grimm? I have started watching it and I am about half way through first season but to be honest its taken ages for me to get into it, however I have been told from friends and family to stick with it as it gets better.

     

    I watched the 1st episode and just couldn't get into it, but I will one day give it another go. it's just finding it in me to do so lol

    Yeah ditto John that's what I do, save up, its a double positive for me cause the money I have left over after the convention helps towards xmas shopping lol.

     

    Lol exactly, that's what I will be doing with the money I have left over from this year, saves me having to be skint come christmas time lol.

    lol totally, i always end up doing a bit of xmas shopping at the convention too, the stalls are always great :).

     

    I was planning on buying a few things for the gf, but she came along so that plan went out the window haha

    lol aww well still plenty of time till xmas, I never know what to get my man, his passion is footy he hasn't embraced his inner geek yet like I have but im working on it, already got him hooked on Supernatural lol

     

    Your lucky, I can't get my gf into most of the shows I watch, she'll watch the odd few like Ray Donovan and those shows, but I will get her converted one day I hope lol, she does love all things Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride, so I have starting point lol

    Whats your favourite vampire movies, my choices would be The Lost Boys, Blade, Bram Stokers Dracula, Interview with the Vampire.

     

    The Lost Boys, Blade, From Dusk Till Dawn, Fright Night, John Carpenters Vampires, 30 Days of Night, Near Dark, just to name a few :)

    Fright Night is a classic ;) Chris Saradon would be a cool guest .
