  1. Hey guys, had a fab time as always (was one of the Elsas on Saturday and one of the Poison Ivys on Sunday). Does anyone know more about the press photos that were taken Sunday morning?? I just want to see how they turned out and where they might be put up etc :) Loved doing pictures with people. I'm still tinkering with Elsa but she seemed to go down well. Also had fun doing Poison Ivy even if the eye-mask was annoying and one of my highlights was having one of the guests ask to take a picture with me and a friend of mine (also in cosplay) on Sunday afternoon. Had a great time meeting so many people, either at the con or outside it and had a lot of interesting conversations!!
  2. I need to grab you for a pic for me step daughter! She is obsessed!!! With Elsa! :) lol, i think most young girls are. i worked for disney so I know what it's like to hear let it go on karaoke constantly!
  3. hey guys, I totally forgot about the forum, my bad, (but I was also out of the country stuck on a ship at sea for 6 months so the internet was a premium there!). I've only been back in Scotland for a few months now and working my ass off to make money and survive but I've been working on my cosplays for this year. I'm going to be there as Elsa (from Frozen) on Saturday and Poison Ivy on Sunday. Neither costume is finished yet (AAAAAAAAAARGH!), my hands hurt from the needles and the glue and the spray paint.... and my kitchen is a state, but I'm getting there! Can't wait to see everyone's costumes this weekend and I'm glad to see quitea few disney ones are planning to be there
  4. I have to travel and stay at a hotel in the centre of MK so I'm not bringing any of my more elaborate costumes. Am only going to cosplay on the Saturday as Merida from Brave. :) I hope to see a lot of others in costumes too!
  5. had a lot of fun today, I did a lot of photos with 5 year old girls, lol, but that's what happens when you dress as a disney princess... see you all tomorrow. I wouldn't get too close to me though as there will be a lot of blood on my dress
  6. @brian nope, I wasn't there last year, so it wasn't me and I only just finished the costume yesterday :) this is my first cosplay at Glasgow, only ever done anything twice before. In London for the LFCC I did star wars twi'lek and then Danny from Hawaii 5-0 genderbend. And last year at Star Wars celebration I did padme. SO I'm really only just getting into it :)
  7. thanks Brian. I would do it on the saturday to join a zombie squad for that day, but I need my helpers with me for it so I have to do it on the sunday as that's when they'll be with me!!
  8. Hi everyone, late in joining the party here as I forgot about the forum! I'm going to be doing Disney cosplay for this one, Merida tomorrow and a zombie cinderella on Sunday :) This is my test on Merida! It's the first time I'm cosplaying fully from scratch rather than sewing together ready-made bits and bobs, so that's exciting. One question, am I going to be okay with my bow set? I have two... I've got a wooden bow and I've got the one Disney sell for Merida which is the plastic kids playtoy. WIll I be okay walking around with one of them? I'd prefer the wooden one, it's a much better size and more convincing. I'm never too sure about the cosplay rules for this stuff and it's always different! Also, hi! It's been a LONG time since I was on the forum and also, I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone else is wearing and taking loads of pictures. I've only been cosplaying for a year, this is only my third event dressed up as anything, a little nervous since am coming on my own tomorrow but at least I have people to hold my stuff while I go zombiefied on sunday
