Brilliant brilliant brilliant. -
I booked my tickets. I was going to watch it on my sisters 3d tv, but then thought - it's the 50th - and it's in the cinema. How often does this happen

10th anniversary of Farscape
candymit replied to RobbieRebel's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2014
If I pray really hard it may come true. Do you think thrre is a God of geeks? -
Just hope you guys are more prominent this time, felt like the cos players where hidden away in Cardiff
-
I would love to but it's way too expensive. My hubbie loves the comic con experience, but he doesn't do photos or autos so I think it's too much to ask him to pay to come to chevron. I'd love to meet them all though. (Or at least joe Flanagan, if I can get one star gater per year I'll be a happy bunny) I really wanted to meet Michael shanks in London July but he postponed till October and I'll be in Scotland, I'm absolutely gutted

Definitely more torchwood guests, it's Cardiff! Also would love to see more stargate guests too

Thanks to all the staff!
candymit replied to scruffylookingnerfherder's topic in Cardiff Film & Comic Con
The staff were phenomenal. Patient, good rumoured and slightly dazed. Lol. Big shout out must go to the guy in the red shirt organising the talk queues, while trying to sort out the back end of the photo queues. -
It was the best talk of the day, they confirmed Craig Charles was in Jersey, which we knew. Also ad stated above that unofficially/officially they are looking to start filming the new series but need to tie in with Danny Jules commitments. What really came across was how good friends they were, they had the audience in stitches.(unlike the aliens talk, that was just weird) I was lucky enough to get my photo with Chris later, and I was privileged to tell him how much I enjoyed the talk he gave. It was tied with Anthony heads as ny favourite moments of the day

All the cos players where fabtastic, they did seem a little hidden compared to London though and I wish there had been more room downstairs or a more open area upstairs that we could have mixed more. Its one of the best parts if comic con If I could take this time to say a HUGE thank you though to doctors 10 and 11, who looked brilliant and took the time not only to have a photograph with me while they were having a rest and a bite to eat. but also took the time to look at my t-shirt (I had 10&11 in reservoir dogs style) and they decided they wanted to do the same pose. I swear if I thought I wouldn't scare them half to death I would have given them both great big hugs, they really made me day, so thanks guys.

I loved Saturday, and although downstairs was mega busy, personally it never felt as crowded as London. I do agree that the upstairs queues should hAve been better thought through, but I can't fault the staff for their patience and good humour. I really don't think they knew what had hit them, when we went to talk area for the doctor who talk tickets (I wasnt online to see the notice if going to the main desk) the young gentle man said it would be quiet enough that we would not need tickets, luckily I didn't listen to him, and the look on his face later that day was priceless. So I think they all managed admirably when the sheer volume took everyone by surprise. The queues where very claustrophobic, I was one of the people who came out if a talk right into the blessed queue, and the staff really seemed to be trying their hardest in an impossible situation. Hopefully next year they can have talks on floor two and photos on floor one. My biggest regret of the day was the cos players seemed to be limited to the second floor, while queuing for photos and talks I saw loads of brilliant cos players going to and from the cos play room, and hardly any down stairs. There was room for them I'd say?

Hi, I ordered tickets at the start of July for early bird entry and photos . They have still not arrived? Should I be worried, I really don't want to have to queue when I get there to exchange my email receipt for tickets? I wasted loads of time at lfcc queuing to swap tickets
-
How long would you leave it before worrying? I ordered all of mine on the 16th July?

Photoshoots Vs Autograph Experiences
candymit replied to GoldenGreen's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2013
This was my first time, I only got photo shoots and looked on jealously (is that a word) at all the people getting autographs, who seemed to be having chats with all the guests. Swore to myself I would get both next time, so I'm reading this thread with great interest -
