  1. If you're sitting far enough away that you don't see his lips move.
  2. I got you beat: Cairns to Sydney - 3 hours; night spent on floor of Sydney airport as flight cancelled due to a thunderstorm; Sydney to Hong Kong - 10 hours; hang around Hong Kong airport - 8 hours; Hong Kong to Heathrow - 13 hours. I win.
  3. Ha, Heathrow to Buenos Aires, 13hr 50. I win. What do I win?
  4. Well using the studded one inside out does get a little annoying after a while.
  5. I tried to hate it out of respect, but it was alright. Certainly not the worst film I watched over the weekend, which would be... Basmati Blues: This was a weird film. A musical starring Brie Larson as a scientist who develops a new type of rice together with her dad Scott Bakula (oh boy), then is sent over to India by the evil corporate types to convince the local farmers to sign contracts which it turns out are really bad deals for them, (which she must have already known) but she only gets bothered when she finds out that they don't realise how bad the deals are (because they are but simple farmers) so then she saves them all. Features random singing, borderline offensive cliches and Donald Sutherland. The best film I watched over the weekend was... Miss Hokusai: This was a bit weird itself. A Japanese animation about the artist Hokusai's daughter. It helps if you know a bit about Hokusai's work already (which I do because I'm like classy and that). A bit of a strange mix of styles, but the best stuff was the relationship between 'Miss Hokusai' and her younger blind sister.
  6. Ghostbusters (lady): I enjoyed it. I wouldn't exactly say it was a well put together film, but I found it entertaining enough.
  7. That's right, we don't need no gang, 'cause we're ohana.
  8. Actually, I walk around naked all the time, which isn't technically flashing.
  9. Usually if guests are signed up to a rival con there is some sort of exclusivity deal, and as such it is very unlikely they will be announced.
  10. Absolutely yes, and a fancy DSLR thingy is allowed. You can take pics of the cosplayers (just be sure to ask them nicely first). The only restrictions would be on filming.
  11. You can certainly request they take it portrait. There's not really enough room for them to step back per se, but as long as you speak quickly you can ask them to get as much of you in as possible.
  12. Except for the fact that the second one is basically Infinity War Part 2, even though they decided against calling it that.
  13. If she is doing a talk then you can grab some pics while she is on stage, and maybe from her autograph queue (unless she has a sign up saying not to do so). There is no formal opportunity to take pictures of the guests though.
  14. Whilst I have seen Mr Capaldi in various roles I would like to formally turn down your offer of membership into "the cool gang" on the grounds that anything that refers to itself as cool is most certainly not cool.
  15. A professional photographer will take a photo of the two of you, which is then printed out and given to you.
  16. In the unlikely event she is not doing pre-orders, I will happily get one for you, in return for your first born child.
  17. Well that's my yearly allotment of 'thank you's used up.
  18. And thank you too QS, I know you would have sorted it if you could.
  19. Thank you soooo much Rob, you really are super, man.
  20. You don't fancy popping over to the Collectormania thread by any chance?
  21. If they get bored they can have a chat with Chris about the olden days.
  22. Please? I know we can see an up to date list on the website, but I like to have it set out all pretty in a table because I'm lazy.
