Anyone met Sigourney Weaver yet?
Katjafin replied to Leenie1965's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
Oh my gosh...this clip with Jimmy Fallon is precious!!! Sigourney Weaver is just adorable in it and she's "one of us" fingerling over Will Ferrell etc... http://www.nbc.com/the-tonight-show/video/sigourney-weaver-had-a-roadside-runin-with-the-beatles/2848253 -

Love it! -
Olympia hands down, especially when they get the Grand Hall. The light was natural light and not that awful yellow tone!

Agree, good question. Was a bit "Aliens" heavy, could have covered a bit more ground. Would have been nice to have got her thoughts on doing voice work for example like in Wall-E and even in Paul she's mostly a voice. I was trying to ask about that but didn't get picked. Still great to listen to her talk though, over far too soon :) And like others have said the autograph session felt so relaxed it was amazing. Still can't quite believe this all happened For those who haven't seen the photo thread I think this is my favourite photo I took at her solo panel :) Ahhh...love this photo! -
This was one of my highlights of the weekend! Meeting Michael Gambon and David Bradley. I made both of them these small keyrings ...David told me he would put his on his keys once he got home Anyhooow, I love David's drawing of Mrs. Norris

I have Wall-E. I've also had the TARDIS sound. My email notification sound is Hedwig's Theme

I need to get this framed properly but at the moment this has to do. This movie means the world to me and meeting Sigourney Weaver was a dream come true for me (actually it never even crossed my mind I could meet her!) Le sigh.

Just curious...did you and your mom sit next to me at the BTTF Talk? If so, did you manage to get that Christopher Lloyd autograph?

Fantastic! Friday: Richard Dean Anderson.....really chatty and funny. Love him to bits. I was there right in the beginning after his first photoshoot. Christopher Lloyd...wonderful, very attentive. Very busy line when I went there so no much time. Saturday: Michael Gambon...Wonderful, again I love him to bits. The line was busy so there wasn't time for chatting. But I think he was like I always imagined him to be. He signed my Harry Potter book. Sigourney Weaver...oh gosh, I was totally starstruck. She signed my "Snow Cake" -poster (my favourite movie of all time which I told her) and she was glad that I have seen it because not a lot of people even know about it (which is a shame because Sigourney should have won all of the awards from that role!). Today I had the photoshoot with her and I took a couple of snow flakes with me...she gushed and said "I'm so glad you brought these!" (SQUEEEEE) Bill Paxton...he was 30 minutes late...but I forgave him because he is precious. I was first in line (wooohoo), he cracked a couple of jokes while signing. David Bradley...loooved him! I gave him a Filch-keyring that I had made and he was so taken by it...he said he would put it on his keys when he gets home...awwwww. He signed my Harry Potter book..and drew Mrs Norris there too Carrie Henn...lovely person! She was funny...the assistant was a young girl and wasn't able to bunch a hole in the diamond pass...so Carrie took the "scissor"-thingies and voilá made the hole...as she did it she said:"I'm a teacher so I'm basically doing this all the time!" Haha. Sunday: James Remar...wonderful! He took a photo with me after the signing Iain Glen...he was really busy when I went to get his photo, but he was nice and very attentive. -
I asked if I could take James Remar's photo (I meant to take it of him while he is sitting behind the desk)...he jumped up and came around the table...I was like..."oh, okay!" And handed my phone to his assistant. He was very nice! Even without the photo-thing.

I had an amazing time too. And for me everything worked out nicely, I had a gold pass and diamond passes for Sigourney, Michael Gambon and Christopher Lloyd. I'm more into autographs than personal photoshoots so I didn't have any clashes with those...and the only photos I did were with the diamond pass guests I had + Richard Dean Anderson & Michael J. Fox DeLorean...so the queues for me went pretty smoothly. Only time I had to really queue for an autograph (longer than 45 minutes) was for Sigourney Weaver and Bill Paxton (and for Bill it was only because he showed up 30 minutes late...but I forgave him because he's precious ) The staff&crew were nice and helpful...thank you so much for your patience! The atmosphere was nice and I saw happy people around me. it's so nice to watch people come out from the photoshoots holding their photos with a huge grin on their faces I still cannot believe I have met and talked with Sigourney Weaver. Gah. All the guests I met were wonderful and I have so many great memories from this weekend. THANK YOU!!!
