I agree, have a pre or post con hotel arrangement for guests and dealers to get together.

I wonder how eveyone would feel if wet whipes were given out when joining the queue to meet a guest, would more guests be happy to shake hands. I know I like to handle items to be signed/ after signing with clean hands so when storing I know, know dirt will be slid inside of the storage later on.

Meet and Greet, Private ... standing arround a table in a group is far from private to begin with. I do agree with the comments made about the Comic Gold Pass here! It was never going to happen, oh and don't forget the VIP Drinks reception how was that VIP! Not a single VIP in sight, and as for the lack of drinks and the plastic mini whine glasses. VIP DRINKS RECEPTION PRIVATE MEET GREET all these did not happen, or were far from the expectation set!

Thanks, I'm seeing a patern with all this... Yea I'm a little surprised that notimated guests didn't attend. Awards without the nominated... I can't see that ever happening with the Bafta awards, I think I paid £25 to go to the bafta video game awards earlier this year which included so much for the money with a full house to boot! Showmasters do need to start justifying the expense!

I did my best to keep sweat free, hands clean and drink plenty of water. I had a shower early Monday to clean of sweat and grime from the crowds. Today I've got a runny nose and a sore throat. I had people breaving over my neck, caughing without covering there mouths close by and hoards of people to walk past which involved a lot of people brushing my arms. YUCK! Now I've got this and 30*C temperatures to deal with this week, thanks! Anyone got advice on how to avoid the con cold?

On the Sunday after my item was signed I was asked if I wanted one paid £5 and they stuck it on for me, and thats how its done you cant get just these otherwise. Its got a nice hologram, wish it was stan lees face or different marvel heroes printed on the holographic sticker but its nice. i wasnt happy at first as he was origonaly going to stick it over stan lees face on the comic, they need to take a little more care as to where these are stuck on but i stopped him just in time. id rather pay £5 for a sticker than £60 for CGC con service.

Top guest, met him Saturday morning seemed a little rude when he turned round to speak to his bud but I think he was more confused than rude as I took a 10 year old game print to him to be signed. I think voice overs must be a bried event compared to making a film that it just passes them by, was very nice and I got a photo with him. I mentioned that he should talk to Black Tusk at Microsoft about Gears of war video game as in a recent IGN interview he seems to enjoy doing voice acting. haha would be funny if he does appear in that game when ever that is released!

I was unable to stay for the awards on Saturday, I would like to know ... Who were the presenters, What was the format of the winners, did they just come out if they had won, How long did it last, How full was the super theatre.

As many people as possible, how about quality not quantity Deal with it!
