Now I'm not complaining because Star Wars is literally my life! But do we really need ANOTHER event? And not to discredit episode VII here but we don't know how good it'll be until after December. I think SM might be jumping the gun a little on the EP VII theme

Exactly. And if they say that money could be better spent. (not that the star or the sun or similar news papers know anything outside poor reporting and trash) think of how much tourism these events bring to London. Hundreds of thousands of people come from literally all over the world to attend LFCC which brings money to London and the surrounding areas

They're all well and good as long as you have that much cash to throw around on individual guest passes. I can see the perks but after what I've heard from this weekend I'm not sure I'll be going to another summer show again. Let alone buying a diamond pass

I'm in exactly the same boat as you. I didn't attend this year because I couldn't afford it and the line up for me personally wasn't great in fitting into my interests. Last year was a great event for me and my cousin as We met everyone that We wanted to and more,despite my cousins disappointment at not meeting Stan Lee it was a great great event. This year though from what I've heard from attendees it was a totally different picture. Poor treatment, terrible planning and utter disappointment for some. I really hated the idea of diamond passes in the first place and now it seems that even shelling out upwards of £140 on one guests pass (obviously not including entry etc) isn't going to gaurantee a good event. I truly feel sorry for everyone who was let down by SM this weekend. Especially those who spent thousands on VIP passes etc. as for my future attending SM events... I don't know.

Yet again showmasters over selling themselves and ending up not delivering on their promises. Kinda glad I didn't come this year. i feel incredibly sorry for all of those who shelled out hundreds of pounds on diamond and gold passes only to be let down.

Don't know if there's a boots near Olympia but the machines at the one in my local town dish out fivers. If not go to a bank and change it up or a Money exchange place or possibly even the post office?? Hope that helps. Sorry that it's slightly garbled but I've been awake since 3 am lol

Hi all! Just a quick message to say that I hope everyone has a great time this weekend. It has turned out to be a great show. Sadly for the first time since I started attending these shows I will not be coming to LFCC this year. But nonetheless I wanted to pass on well wishes for the upcoming extravaganza! Hope you all enjoy yourselves and that SM have a great show too. Happy con-ing!

Via Tube or by Train ? Sorry that was a silly question why would you go to Victoria by tube lol Via train is really easy just get off at Clapham Junction and get a Over Ground train to Kensington Olympia then its only a hop, skip and jump to the venue Clapham Junction is the station before Victoria if your traveling from down south your train should stop there as most do how ever if by some bizarre reason your train doesn't stop at Clapham Junction go to Victoria and catch any train to Clapham Junction and then do the above . Trains to Clapham are pretty frequent so you shouldn't have to wait for longer than say 10 mins but make sure you get a Direct train to Clapham that way it wont take any longer than 10 mins. If you've never been to Clapham Junction before Don't Panic just head for a exit and you will find signs telling you what platform you need for Kensington Olympia. I wish I could remember which platform you and I need as I'm doing this trip to. Where about's are you coming from ? If your traveling on early Sat Morning we might be on the same train lol If you need any more help etc check out my profile my email addy is there and drop me a email If you're coming on the same line that I use (Brighton/south coast line) you get off at platform 12 or 13 normally and then I beleive the overground is platform 1 or 2. It's normally signposted or check th network rail journey planner and it'll come up on there! Hope this helps!

Does your train call at Clapham Junction? If so get the overground from there to Kensington Olympia :) it's the route I use every year because I'm travelling along the Southampton/Portsmouth line from Brighton to Victoria and it's very quick and easy to change at Clapham.

He was very busy last year. So much so that I beleive he had a steady queue most of the day. I didn't see him sadly

Haha I consider anything north of London or the South Downs to be "up north"!

Where I work doesn't accept Scottish notes. But being right on the south coast means it's very rare that we see them anyway haha
