Yes! And how about Gunther Wendt aswell? Be nice to meet some of those who worked hard behind the scenes as it were, who helped get these men into space. Also, it would be good to see some more shuttle astronauts, for example, Mike Mullane and Dr Tom Jones. Still hoping to meet Gene Krantz one day.......!!! Sam.

Brilliant!! We had a great time! Went to meet the astronauts, and they were just charming! Able to chat and have pics taken! Worth every penny!!! Patrick Moore..what a lovely man!! Didnt stay long as hotel was very warm, and pregnancy hormones got the better of me, but enjoyed ourselves immensely, cant wait to see who will be at next years!! Just fabulous!!!!

We are coming up to show tomorrow, but husband has deleted all emails and Ive lost the receipt for tickets that he printed off....not good!! He has just emailed Dave to make sure we can still get in, but wondered if anyone has done this before, or whether we are going to have problems tomorrow? Any advice anyone??!!! Will Jim be happy to have his photo taken if we havent booked a ticket for the photoshoot? Its just that im heavily pregnant with twins, and will be coming to show on Sat, but will find standing in a long hot queue to have photo taken with him abit much I suspect. And last year had to wait hours to get photo back from Buzz Aldrin Photoshoot. If Jim would be ok with having photo taken when he is signing stuff that would be great. Also im giving my boy twin the middle name James, after him, so maybe that might persuade him!!!?? What do you think, would he be happy to have pic taken with me but not at photoshoot??? If not, then will book a ticket, maybe I could be pushed up to front of queue?? And can photos be sent to home address if I need to go home??? Many thanks SAM

I loved meeting Al Worden and Scott Carpenter, Mike Bannister charming, and as for Rusty Goffe...an absolute star!!! It was mega to meet Buzz Aldrin, but it was so quick, at least I got to chat to the other Astros, which just made my day!!! A fantastic day. Oh, and I dont know his name, but on saturday, he was the guy standing by the entrance to the main space room, next to the flip pad, had a green shirt on,with short dark hair, and was helping with any questions people had...he was lovely and really really helpful. we had a good old chat with him. Dont know his name, but was the font of all knowledge!! if anyone knows him, could they say thank you for all his help!!!! cheers, Sam

Just wanted to say me and my daughter had a brilliant day. Meeting Buzz Aldrin,Al Worden, Scott Carpenter ,Gene Cernan and Alan Bean were top highlights for me, but my daughter spent most of the afternoon talking to her new best friends...the oompa loompas!! Rusty was an absolute gentleman, and we had a good old chinwag. He made a real fuss over Laura, and even sang to her!!!! They were such lovely guys, and made a brilliant day even better. Johnny Johnson and Jimmy James were lovely too, and charmed me and Laura again! All the stars were so approachable and happy to chat, that it made it all worthwhile. Really really loved it, just wish id had more money!!! i will be prepared for next time and save like mad til then!!! sam

Me and my daughter met him, and yes, what a lovely man. he asked if we wanted our pic taking with him, so the man sat with him did it, and he was just charming. Chatted about Filton, where Concord used to land alot, and I used to live there and watch her fly in, and take off, so it was good to talk to him about that. He answered all my daughers questions, and really made her day with a lovely dedication on her photo. a top guy, and well worth meeting. sam

Went to Autographica yesterday, and meeting Buzz Aldrin was amazing!! didnt get my photo back in time tho to have it signed, but to be honest, id already spent a fortune, and got signed photos from Al Worden and Scott Carpenter, they too were charming, and quite happy to chat about their missions! Heard the most brilliant conversation between Gene Cernan and Alan Bean, which attracted a small audience who just hung off their every word!!!!! Dont think I will ever hear a conversation like that again!!!! First time ive ever been to anything like this, and I only went to meet the astronauts, but the whole day was brilliant. I came home skint, but very very happy!!!!!! sam
